Had a nice couple of days with dh and the dc. Dh is just cooking dinner, roast pork today 😋

Our weather has been OK nowhere as cold as a week ago thankfully.

Hello Fatty nice to see you , how are you doing ? Have you got flu or something ?
Been busy couple of days here. I had a birthday and a surprise meet up with 14 of my family for dinner. It was lovely.
My dh off to Germany in the early hours of tomorrow. 4 of them going , of course for footi, but dh will go and visit our German friends whilst there, so I will have a few days of peace and quiet !

Im just run down i think.

DD has been very unwell and spent a lot of time in hospital.

She's fine now, but I'm not.
Im sick, puking. Im also depressed.

I keep randomly bursting into tears, i don't want to go to work, then when I'm there i don't want to come home. I just want ti be away from everyone. Which clearly isn't feasible when you have a full time job and 3 kids to look after!
DP is trying to help, but i just look at him and think "cunt". He hasn't even done anything wrong.

I think i need to see the doctor...

Sounds like you can do without some help from someone Fatty how long have you been like this ? What was wrong with dd ? And is it all solved now. I did ask the other day on the other thread if anyone had heard from you and they said you were on Facebook, which I don't have. Pick up the phone and make that apt. 💐

In November she had tonsilitis, a chest infection, an ear infection, a urine infection and gastroenteritis all at the same time.

We thought she was ok after a few days in hopsital and IV antibiotics.

But her immune system was obviously still weak and she's just got over another bout of Tonsilitis, another chest infection, another ear infection and the bloody flu!
That all landed her back in hospital because she wasnt eating or drinking so her blood sugar levels dropped and she needed IV fluids and antibiotics.

Poor little soul, that must of left her feeling so rotten, and she is such a tiny little thing isn't she to put up with all that. That must of been a worry for you. Is she doing ok now ? Were you able to stay in the hospital with her ?

She is ok now. She finished (what is hopefully) her last lot of antibiotics last night, and is definitely much more dull of energy now!
Yeah, i was able to stay with her. I hardly slept, but i wasn't leaving her side!

Hope she continues to get back to normal. Must of been draining for you and her.
How is your job going, are you still at the same nursery ?

Yeah, still at the same nursery. Its good. We are currently switching to a new system for childrens observations snd record keeping, so it's all a bit stressful making sure we are doing it right, but its good.

You have a lot on your plate,it's no wonder you feel down at the moment. Does your dp do all the housework and cooking etc. You can't be doing it all. You probably could do with a break just to be away from any stress free environment for a couple of weeks. Your not a robot, your a very stressed mum!

He does most of it to be fair.

I am very exhausted.

Nice to see you Fatty 😃 I don’t think this time of year helps with people’s mood, it’s just a bit glum & cold really. As Lin says you are very busy and a certain amount of stress does come with that unfortunately, and how household chores are split matters a lot as it lightens the load a bit. Also it’s ok to have a few hours to yourself now and then, maybe dp would take the dc out to the library or something on a Saturday morning.
It’s good work is going well and your dd is better.

Your lucky dh Lin I do like Germany, I lived there for a few years as a child fr my dad’s work.

I’m just waiting for mil, she is coming swimming with me and the dc.

I tried to get a GP appointment, but theyre closed.
Work said i can have today and tomorrow as holidays so i still get paid, so will phone again in the mornong and try and get an appointment

I like it too Pink. Although mainly going for footi, dh will go and visit our German friends. The wife is having a tough time at the moment daring for her dh who has cancer. It's the same friends that came over here in Sept and we went and met up with them then. She is very excited my dh is going, she calls him her husband number 2 ! We became friends with them when their dd came to us as a 12 yr old student !! She is now 24 !

I have an appointment at 10. Wish me luck!

Glad you managed to get o slot Fatty . I feel like I've had no sleep as I stayed up till 3.30am. To see dh off ! Will be going to sleep in front of the tele tonight I expect !

I only went to sleep at2, i was playing the sims all night
I've been crying again this morning. Not even sure why. I just have.
Hopefully doctor will give me something that helps.

I hope so too , you have to listen to what your body is telling and you need to slow down or you end up burnt out.

I've an appointment for mental health this morning too.

Morning all. Dh has arrived in Germany, but phoned to ask me to look for his footi tickets, he can't find them and he has everyone's ! He changed suitcase so I've looked in there and in the bed and they aren't there. So god knows what will happen if he can't find them ! Bloody hell.
