So my mh is really beginning to suffer from everything so I'm not going to be around much. Obviously I'll still raid pinks fridge/munch cake but I think i need it limit my time here to the tree, barn, my nice things thread and prayer thread. I need to do things that aren't adding to my distress and this place is. I'm taking things very personally right now.

Fed up playing Florence nightingale already ! Dh doing ok though. District nurse out to change his dressings tomorrow. I just can't believe that on mon morn he was at work, now had hs kidney out and S back home. It hasn't been quite stressful, but fingers crossed dh will recover well.

Oh dear Lin, but at least he won't get in your way around the house.

We are going to Paris tomorrow. MIL bought us the trip as it's DH's birthday on Monday. It's a lovely thing to do, but she's booked the Eurostar for really early tomorrow morning, so we've had to take the DCs to hers tonight. It's been a really really busy week, and I've had to swap my day off and work 4 days in a row, I need my wednesdays off to re-collect my thoughts. It was booked with no communication to us whatsoever. We'd never have chosen Paris or this weekend. If we had to choose a trip it would be a spa or a lodge where we could relax, not a stressful busy city. It's a lovely gift, I just don't want it Flowers

All going well here. Dh much improved today. District nurse has removed all dressings, said he dosent need them and she dosent have to come back ! Walking around quite well and made me a cuppa earlier !!!

Not doing good unfortunately. Have massive meeting this morning and am struggling. About to go.

Am also struggling with MN due to ads playing making it difficult to use on device.

Slept ok but got cold and woke in lot of pain.

Lin Glad your dh is recovering well.

Curtains I’m sure you’ll enjoy it once there. We have been on the Eurostar (which is fab) and to Paris a few times, many nice places to see although I always feel Paris is a bit over hyped. I can understand why you don’t want it, Sometimes surprises just aren’t what you need as although it comes from a good place it adds to stress.

Becca Hope your meeting goes ok.

Me and the dc are going to make Christmas tree decorations today and I must online order present for baby owl birthday can you belive he will be 1 next week??

It was my fault.

I complained weeks ago and then went to a meeting alone and got distressed. Then tried to get some support and got told off.

I'm just not well enough.

Every person locally who said if I ever needed help to let them know has turned around and said no.

I feel the most worthless person in the world.

Today mil had the dc and me and dh went to church they do a Christmas service for stillborn Babies in the nearest town. We aren’t religious but the service has some lovely poems in it and you can light candles and write in the remembrance book. We have been every year since our dd was stillborn and it’s so sad to see even more parents attend each year, the world really is cruel.

Back home now cuddled up with dh and the dc watching a Christmas film with a glass of mulled wine

My gd,s friend had her first baby on tues, I saw a photo of the little newborn. On thurs the mum had a cardiac arrest and died. The dad phoned to tell gd this morning and has invited her round next week to visit the baby. Puts things in perspective a bit dosent it. If she was same age as gd, she will be 22. How sad is that. My gd is devastated about her friend and the fact the baby has no mummy.

So baby owl is 1 today 🎈🎉 I can’t belive how quick this year has gone. We are having a little tea party later this afternoon with a few dc from Mum and baby group.

Then with Christmas a week away I’ve got some prep to do for that still as we are hosting for the family and the weekend will be our Christmas party for our friends

Today me and the dc are making gingerbread houses and some gingerbread Mr&Mrs Santa too of course. Cheese straws are going to be made too, my granny use to make the best ones but mine aren’t bad even if I say so myself.
