I’ve had my friend and her twin dc over today, was lovely to see them and my dc love playing with hers. Wore my dc out nicely.

Going out once again later to do some more shopping, although it's a horrible day, windy and raining. But it has to be done and I need everything done by the 16th as dh then goes into hospital. It is making me more and more nervous as each day brings it a bit closer. And I am doing the Xmas dinner for family this year too. May have to not do the mince pies this year, will see how I get on !

I had a scan yesterday. It only lasted a couple of minutes.
GP was shocked.
Am very scared.

Not had a good couple of days, I think I’ve done something to my back? Pain started yesterday, It really hurts but weirdly only the bottom right hand corner was so bad this afternoon I actually cried. Mil come over until dh got home to watch dc and I laid on the bed.

Becca Sorry to see your scared, was this because of the scan results? Or just worrying about the results to come?

Lin the operation for your dh is coming round so quick only seems like the other week they changed the date of it

Pink I hope your back has been better today, I have the odd day here and there where mine just goes (damn pregnancies wrecking my body!!) thankfully it seems to work itself out within a few days so long as I rest.

Lin how are you / your DH feeling about his operation now it's getting closer? Don't stress yourself out too much over Christmas cooking. Can you prep dough in advance for the mince pies and freeze it?

I've been doing okay. I'd forgotten that I'd posted on here about last week - sorry to say that and then disappear for a while. I've been busy with home, the kids and been doing lots of knitting instead of staring at my phone. I've got a yarn advent calendar so will be knitting the individual tiny balls into a shawl day-by-day. Mentally I'm doing okay. Keeping myself busy and just getting g through each day. Blood test came back that I have very low iron so I've got tablets for that - hopefully that will give me a bit more energy.

Yes this week and consultant next week. Am terrified.

Hi all. Nothing but apt soon here for last two days. Yesterday was mine to see chest nurse and today was to see consultant at hospital. I am going to have a nebuliser as I just can't seem to clear my chest, which I need tur means I can't breath properly at all. I had a choice between borrowing one from the hospital or getting my own, but consultant prescribing the medication to go in it. He recommended one from the chemist where my gd works so she is getting it fir me ( with staff discount ) I didn't fancy one that someone else had used previously. He also gave me a " safety pack " which consisted of anti b,s and steroids if I suddenly get another chest infection. My X-ray showed no deterioration in my lungs. It is my right lung that shows the scarring, which he reckons is caused by Tb in previous years of which I have no knowledge ! Also today dh had to have his pre op checks done and he is fit enough for his op, thank goodness. The sooner it's done the better. Then tonight he was due an injection into his knee he waited over an hour at his gp and wasn't seen, so he cancelled it and rebooked for thurs as tonight at 6 he was going to
So how have you got on Becca have you seen anyone yet ?

No I'm seeing GP Thursday and consultant Monday.

Got results. No tumour so condition worsening. Not good. I can't put details on here.

Do you need any treatment Becca ? Has it made your anxiety worse ?
