Chocolate oranges for people who actually like chocolate

31 replies

Planning my Christmas shopping (booking my Ocado shop now!)

And I was reminded that I actually can't bear chocolate oranges any more, totally inedible. Can anyone recommend a milk chocolate with a nice subtle orange flavour - like Chocolate Oranges used to be in the good old days

(I think I have officially hit middle age!)

The best orange chocolate is Montesuma's orange abs geranium.

The Divine chocolate orange bars are the best, all their chocolate is pretty tasty. You can find it in the co-op or online - loads of different flavours, including some Christmas specials out at the moment.

Green and Blacks Mayan Gold, spicy as well as orangey.

I don't use Ocado anymore though, they're a bit anti-women.

@TimelhadaNameChange

Not a whole clementine, in one piece. It’s the individual segments, served in little paper cake cups, completely covered in choc. No skin (I think). If it’s there I don’t notice it. Maybe the candification (?) process ‘dissolves’/makes the skin edible??

I recommend buying a packet just for research purposes ;-)

No wonder I wear elasticated waists over the holidays!
