Because they are making me feel better.

So far I've only got:
Irreplaceable - Beyoncé
Take a bow - Rihanna
Ridin' solo - Jason derulo
smile - lily allen

Cheesy, singalong type stuff. Even better with an understory of being cheated on

Thanks Grin

I ain't sayin' you treated me unkind
You could have done better but I don't mind
You just kinda wasted my precious time
But don't think twice, it's all right

AlphaNumericalSequence · 07/04/2019 07:59

Also:

Idiot wind, blowing every time you move your mouth
Blowing down the backroads headin’ south
Idiot wind, blowing every time you move your teeth
You’re an idiot, babe
It’s a wonder that you still know how to breathe

RunSweatLaughAndLatte · 07/04/2019 08:00

Dua Lipa - IDGAF
Anne Marie - Ciao Adios
Iggy Izalea - Black Widow
Ariana Grande - thank you, next

RunSweatLaughAndLatte · 07/04/2019 08:01

Ella Eyre - comeback

bumpertobumper · 07/04/2019 08:01

Why'd you do it by Marianne Faithfull
Brilliantly angry and funny tirade at a cheating lover

SimonJT · 07/04/2019 08:04

Years and years - Lucky escape

It’s my exs song (not about me!), but it’s definitely one most people coule relate to.

RunSweatLaughAndLatte · 07/04/2019 08:05

Mabel - Don’t call me up

Unclebuck3 · 07/04/2019 08:09

Schism - Tool

Had Enough - Breaking Benjamin

You had to have it all,
well have you had enough?
Greedy little bastard you,
get what you deserve.

When all is said and done,
I will be the one.
To live you in your misery,
Yo hate what you’ve become.

😍😍😍

*To not Yo

Hole in the Head by Sugababes

MollysLips · 07/04/2019 08:58

Break-up songs are definitely the best genre of music!

I love "Fuck You" by Ceelo Green. But also, in the 2011 Eurovision Song Contesf -- no, no, hear me out! There was an AMAZING break-up song by a storming Slovenian girl. I have it on my gym playlist.

It's absolutely brilliant. Listen.

And good luck OP - you'll feel better in no time.

sofato5miles · 07/04/2019 09:02

Yes -Mammoth Butler
Thorn in my side -Eurthymics
Apologise - Timberland
U + UR Hand - Pink
I Don't Wanna Be in Love - Good Charlotte
Goodbye - Refer Lyse

NotMyUsualTopBilling · 07/04/2019 09:04

George Ezra - Drawing board

Thinking of all the different ways you can bump them off to a merry tune, what's not to love 😁

lemmein · 07/04/2019 09:16

Learned from the best - Whitney

dangerrabbit · 07/04/2019 09:48

m.youtube.com/watch?v=7VLNg-1_ZwI decline by Raye

GreenTeacup · 07/04/2019 09:56

Two songs by Eamon and frankee.

“Fuck you” and “fuck you right back”

Newuseroftheweek · 07/04/2019 10:01

The beauty of the end. Paloma Faith.
Fuck you and your untouchable face (although, don't fully listen to the lyrics!).Ani Di Franco.
Ani Di Franco is good generally for this stuff. And skunk Anansie.

Newuseroftheweek · 07/04/2019 10:03

The Skunk Anansie song is called Weak. Its a great angry song!

Babdoc · 07/04/2019 10:05

Lots of good suggestions so far.
May I add “A little time” by Beautiful South.
And if you’re tempted to go back to the awful ex, try “Shut up and drive” by Chely Wright. (Not to be confused with the different song of same title by Rihanna)

icannotremember · 07/04/2019 10:06

Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes- I Hate You

thesnapandfartisinfallible · 07/04/2019 10:07

Fuck you right back?
Can't remember who sings it, it was around when I was young.

icannotremember · 07/04/2019 10:07

Although I wouldn't say it's a cheesey singalong!

Millipedewithherfeetup · 07/04/2019 12:33

Got to be Gloria gaynor with I will survive ! Got me and a few friends through break ups !
