I can't decide what I think about Situationist publicity stunts.

I tend to think people thought the KLF were arseholes for burning a million quid. This stunt reeks of Candid Camera, I agree that Banks was probably the buyer.

In the v early days of Banksy fame, I was at a party that he was at too. He's quite small with dark curly hair, not unlike the Robin C photo but I wouldn't be able to pick him out in a line-up because in those days, parties were for getting very drunk.

Said in the news tonight that he had installed the shredder years ago in case it was sold. Still don't get how it was activated though? I feel like the joke's on us (well the pretentious art world really). Either way I love it, stunt or not.
