Yes! Fridge overnight then yum yum yum reheated next day.

Want Chinese now...

Thebeautifullisette · 03/10/2018 18:49

Of course! Just not the rice, all the rest will be fine.

chillandrelax · 03/10/2018 18:50

I would eat it cold the next day! Love left over Chinese take away!

I freeze it and take it to work as a microwave lunch.

Lwmommy · 03/10/2018 18:50

I do it all the time. It depends on what you have as to how nice it will be re heated.

Rice or noodles are lovely heated through in a frying pan with a little oil.

Chicken/pork...in batter goes squidgy

CrispbuttyNo1 · 03/10/2018 18:50

The rice will be fine if kept in the fridge. (Although to be honest I have always just kept mine in the microwave overnight.. never been ill off it either )

JuneFromBethesda · 03/10/2018 18:51

Yup. (Even the rice 😵) I only recently woke up to the possibilities of reheating takeaways, having previous always ordered too much and then eaten too much. Now I love stretching a takeaway over two nights. Such a treat and feels like better value for money 😄

IHaveBrilloHair · 03/10/2018 18:52

Oh no, I just eat it cold, yum.
My teenage daughter has a part time job in a Chinese takeaway so I get it free every Saturday night.

maxelly · 03/10/2018 18:52

Of course! But anything in batter like pork balls will probably go a bit soggy... but I think noodles are actually better the next day!

mumgointhroughtorture · 03/10/2018 18:52

My bf has the stomach of an iron man . He takes everything to work the next day . Even rice . I don't know how he's not constantly ill. He takes last night's tea most days for lunch at work and regularly takes takeaways.
Personally I love cold Chinese the next day more so than it being freshly cooked .

AornisHades · 03/10/2018 18:53

Yes including the rice.

PattiStanger · 03/10/2018 18:54

Of course.

You don't need a cast iron stomach to eat leftovers the following day, doesn't everyone do that?

PurpleArmy · 03/10/2018 18:55

Yes, all of it, even the battered stuff reheated in the oven and the rice.

user187656748 · 03/10/2018 18:56

who has leftover Chinese? Confused

MadisonMontgomery · 03/10/2018 18:57

Yum, yes! I think second-day Chinese is actually better somehow

waxy1 · 03/10/2018 18:57

Battered delicacies can go in the toasted sandwich maker.

SpuriouserAndSpuriouser · 03/10/2018 18:58

I would, but not the rice. People love to say that they do it all the time without problems, but to me it’s not worth the risk. You don’t know that the Chinese made it fresh today, or whether it’s a couple of days old and already been reheated.

Magik1 · 03/10/2018 18:58

Yes of course, can reheat it all. Enjoy

SteamTrainsRealAleandOpenFires · 03/10/2018 18:58

Eating a cold curry from the night before, is even better. Grin

Pinkstars2501 · 03/10/2018 18:58

Yes! I’m another who even it’s the rice and never been ill off it yet. I don’t always fridge it either....

Judashascomeintosomemoney · 03/10/2018 19:00

Bring it here, I’ll have it Grin

overagain · 03/10/2018 20:09

Yes.

With rice, the issue isn't reheating, it's cooling it properly and storing correctly. The rice in your chinese will already have been reheated when they made egg fried rice (it's always made with pre-cooked rice). It will do you no harm.

Strawberrybelly · 03/10/2018 20:12

I always reheat leftover Chinese the next day and now I also want a Chinese.

EggysMom · 03/10/2018 20:14

Who has leftover Chinese? I do! DH doesn't like most Chinese, so I only have it when he's out of the house; and to get free delivery, I have to order quite a lot Grin so now I split it over one evening and lunch the next day.

DramaAlpaca · 03/10/2018 20:17

Yes of course. We always get extra so we can have the leftovers next day, and reheat the lot.
