We've alot left over and seems such a shame to throw it. Windering if I pop it in the fridge woukd it be ok to reheat for tea tomorrow?

Oh yes, always nicer the next day. Just make sure you super nuke heat it.

vampirethriller · 03/10/2018 20:23

I always get enough for two days!

QueenOfMyWorld · 03/10/2018 20:24

Left overs are a thing?

I reheat every takeaway the day after! They always advise against reheating rice but I always have & it’s never made me ill. As long as you make sure everything is piping hot when you reheat it!

Molokonono · 03/10/2018 20:56

We always get enough so that we can freeze the left overs and make up a fakeaway when time is tight.

Hassled · 03/10/2018 20:56

I deliberately over-order so I have some for the next day. It's always nicer.

Nothisispatrick · 03/10/2018 20:58

I always leave some for the next day. I find noodles actually better the next day when reheated in a frying pan as you get nice crispy bits. I don’t microwave it as it just goes soggy.

tictac86 · 03/10/2018 21:05

Yes but sometimes the sweet and sour sauce goes very thick. Rice is fine to reheat

Sitranced · 03/10/2018 21:05

Yes, we always overorder so we can have Chinese lunch the next day.

Parttimewasteoftime · 03/10/2018 21:06

Yes yes yes cold the next day food of gods.

jq28 · 03/10/2018 21:10

Absolutely!

PavlovaFaith · 03/10/2018 21:12

I reheat rice. It's just got to be piping hot throughout. Now I want Chinese!!!!!!!

nicebitofquiche · 03/10/2018 21:13

Sits on kitchen bench until it's eaten cold or heated up in micro for breakfast. All of it. Including rice. Still alive.

LadyMonicaBaddingham · 03/10/2018 21:13

I frequently do. Yummy.

ileclerc · 03/10/2018 21:14

Yep. Or cold for breakfast. And we always I have the rice.

FabulousTomatoes · 03/10/2018 21:15

Oh hell yeah, it’s one of the most understated joys in life.

ShotsFired · 03/10/2018 21:15

No it will be highly poisonous. AVOID!

I will be round in 15mins to dispose of it safely for you in my belly

Katedotness1963 · 03/10/2018 21:37

Yes! Our local takeaway did huge portions so there were always leftovers. I'd wake up in the middle of the night just to think about reheating leftovers for lunch. Oh, the disappointment to get up and find out that teenaged sons had come home late and eaten it...

ShotsFired · 04/10/2018 17:33

Thanks to @flowerpot1000000 selfishly refusing to let me scarf her leftovers, I have been obsessed with Chinese food the whole day.

But for various reasons it is not possible tonight. Or tomorrow.

Gah.

flowerpot1000000 · 04/10/2018 17:55

Ha ha I cant believe how many replies Ive had to this. Guess what we have for tea Grin

Chinese takeaway on the next day is lush.

One2Three4Five6 · 04/10/2018 20:24

I always reheat leftover Chinese the next day, because we order lots of different dishes and split between 5 of us, our local produces decent size portions too.
Does us dinner, then breakfast or lunch the next day too.

Why can't you reheat rice? What have I missed?

TeaMeBasil · 04/10/2018 20:31

Yep - as long as you reheat it properly it's fine, including the rice! Enjoy!!

Strawberry2017 · 04/10/2018 20:38

Yes, I'd even reheat rice even though it's not allowed x

amusedbush · 04/10/2018 20:51

I didn’t have to wait long before the Rice Police came along 🚨😂

I reheat everything. Some of you would be horrified by how I store things that I then reheat and consume Grin
