What's your Sunday looking like?

Off to take the dog for a walk in a min- I'm so tired but my boyfriend usually walks him everyday so I want to chip in and help out and stop being such a lazy shitGrin

Then a nice coffee & breakfast, boyfriends parents are coming to visit at 12 and we're going to the park to walk the dog (again- he's a 7 month old cocker spaniel, so lots of energy!).

Ideally I'd be spending the morning in bed until 1 & the dog wouldn't ever need walking so I could have some peace without him yapping and destroying the house + no grumpy boyfriend due to it!Wink

Ughhh give me strength! I'm too tired.😴

Just moved house so will be spent unpacking boxes and arguing with DH about where said unpacked shit should go in the new house. And where furniture should go.

He will insist it should be a certain way. I'll say it looks silly/is impractical. DH will say I'm just criticising/stressed. I will move it all and DH will reluctantly admit my way is right. But we will have to go through this with every room....

I hate moving!

LeonoraFlorence · 30/09/2018 08:07

Meeting my parents for breakfast then a walk/scoot in park/around lake this morning. Then we are going indoor skiing (I’m not as I’m pregnant but will watch with hot choc!) and to crazy golf with friends and their DC and will probably go to TGI Fridays/Nandos/similar for dinner afterwards.

Influenced · 30/09/2018 08:13

Currently nagging the kids to do music practise and then I will make them pancakes as a reward. I’ve got a yoga glass at 9.30 and after that we will walk the dog to a coffee shop we love where we can also glimpse our son’s rugby practise. Later I need to finish painting my eldest daughter’s bedroom floorboards after which I’ve promised to take her and her siblings to IKEA to get a new bed and stuff. Once back from IKEA I will probably be forced to engage in various flat pack challenges before collapsing on the sofa and mourning the end of Bodyguard. What to watch on sunday nights now?!

HelenaJustina · 30/09/2018 08:17

Two loads of washing on the line already and 4 DC breakfasted and dressed. Need to get a wriggle on and get through the shower if we are going to be on time for Mass at 9am.

Then coffee with friends after Mass, home to potter before lunch. Probably a National Trust place for a couple of hours this afternoon before some friends comeback round for party tea for one of the DC’s birthdays.

Justanotheruser01 · 30/09/2018 08:19

Im sure last week at the end of body guard they advertised a new programme for this week? Sunday may not be lost yet.
Meant to be ironing work shirts in a task trade off with dh im on mumsnet instead. Got to get into town for when it literally first opens seems the early xmas shoppers have hit .

DH and DS are downstairs watching match of the day, and I’m having toast and tea that they’ve brought up for me in bed.

DS has swimming class just before midday and DH will take him to that and I’ll have a little tidy up and make sure all the laundry baskets are empty.

Other than that, a little walk round the park and probably a carvery... I’d like to have a go at the I newspaper weekend crossword too over a glass of wine, but we’ll see Wink

Justanotheruser01 · 30/09/2018 08:20

Sorry pressed post early them we will be doing some visiting and then ill have a long relaxing Sunday bath whilst dh makes a roast :-)

Allycumpooster · 30/09/2018 08:22

I’m off to do a training workshop with my pup. Then coffee and snack with DH and DS followed by a dog walk with all three pups. May manage to get in the garden this afternoon. I have been looking forward to today Smile

LooksBetterWithAFilter · 30/09/2018 08:23

Ironing and packing. We are off to Italy on Friday night so going to get the bulk of the packing done today.
Dd is 15 tomorrow but her dad is about today so we will be having some birthday cake later a day early she will get another at my mum’s house tomorrow because I’m late home on a Monday so she usually pops in there after school.

sureitsgrand · 30/09/2018 08:25

I'm up with kids letting DH have a lie on. We are all going to a local football match at 12 then to my mum's for a Sunday roast. Probably a walk to the park after it to let the 3yo run off a bit of steam and maybe a glass of wine tonight to finish the weekend. I love Sundays.

EastMidsGPs · 30/09/2018 08:26

BIL and nephew are running Nottingham Half marathon.
So will be taking them to sign in and then finding a good vantage point near the finish. Nephew's children are beside themselves with excitement, it could be a long day!

Afterwards off for a meal to celebrate and refuel before they head home to the NE

ILoveAnOwl · 30/09/2018 08:28

Working in a very cool venue learning interesting things with awesome people. Then off to see Rachel Parris tonight.
My Sunday's are not normally this interesting.
Next Sunday I'll be catering a Harvest Supper for 70 people. I am not a caterer...

RosieposiePuddingandPi · 30/09/2018 08:30

DH is away with the army this weekend so me and DS are having a chilled morning sat on the sofa watching cartoons and then we're heading to a play cafe for a run around, maybe the park after.
Then we have to go to the barracks for a big family day thing they do every year so I need to be sociable for a few hours 😂 Hopefully we can all come home after for a relaxed evening!

MuddlingThroughLife · 30/09/2018 08:31

Watching casualty, the lamb is in the oven roasting. Dd1 is off to work, dd2 is in bed, dh is in bed.

So cooking roast lamb, quick shower, go to the crem to visit ds then visit the in-laws with dd2. Home about 7pm, reheat dd1's dinner and probably pj's and xfactor before bed.

MysweetAudrina · 30/09/2018 08:31

Pilates at 10.45, yin yoga at 11.45. Dh bringing kids to their first rugby practice. Will do the shopping after yoga and pick up something nice for lunch and dinner. Bring dog out for a walk later and get stuff ready for the week.

fieryginger · 30/09/2018 08:31

I've just got up for a wee. Now I'm going back to sleep. DH up with DS, DH is an early riser, always has been (it's a super power, along with falling to sleep as soon as his head hits the pillow, I'm an insomniac).

Lazy day planned, topped off with a nice dinner about 5pm. Now that we're a bit scattered, I try and get everyone back home for Sunday dinner. After bedtime tonight, we'll watch a film before bed.

Stormwhale · 30/09/2018 08:33

We are going to visit my grandparents this morning, have coffee and a catch up. Then we are on the hunt for new long school socks for dd. Then home for a chilled out afternoon. I will get all dd's school uniform ironed. We had a busy day yesterday out at a leisure centre with flumes, rapids etc so a more chilled day is on the cards today.

Methe · 30/09/2018 08:36

Lots of bulbs to plant in the garden and the grass needs cutting. Planning a roast, I fancy lamb but it depends how much it costs! Lamb can be so expensive can’t it. Might have pork instead. The house will be getting a general spruce up as the day goes on and I’ll probablt end the day with a hour or so long lounge in the bath.

ziggiestardust · 30/09/2018 08:44

methe I absolutely LOVE lamb, but DH isn’t keen. I’m very jealous. Lamb shanks in the slow cooker sounds DIVINE right now

Methe · 30/09/2018 08:46

Oooo lamb shanks.. now where’s a thought!

PhilomenaButterfly · 30/09/2018 08:46

We would be going to the Sainsbury's café for lunch with DM, but DS2 had a temperature last night so we cancelled. So nothing interesting, just food shopping later.
