I always used to think that a 99 Ice cream was called that because it cost 99p. If only it did cost that now. I used to think Pubs that said ‘free house’ on them meant you got free drinks.

Always wanted to go to an Abattoir, sounded so posh and fancy - had no idea years it is a name for a slaughterhouse. Shock

Oh I used to think teachers lived at school too. It was a great shock/sadness for me to find a teacher lived nearby me growing up and they actually left the school premises and had a life Grin

My dad used to tell me all sorts of stuff and I believed it all! Apparently I used to tell my infants teacher that my Dad was 100 years old, she greeted him at parents' evening with "Well Mr Weasel, you do look good for your age!"
