Feeling a bit flat and I can’t think of any ideas that jump out at me for dinner tonight...

Veggie sausages and mash

Leftover takeaway. It's been in the freezer for a few weeks so I can't remember exactly what's there, but I'm expecting chick peas and lentils to feature highly.

A home made casserole that’s been on a low oven all afternoon while I was sawing branches off my fallen tree.
Steak and kidney, onion, lentils, carrots, swede, mushrooms, tomatoes, stock and handfuls of herbs from the garden. I’m starving, so planning a big helping...!

Slow cooker bbq pulled pork with homemade wedges, salad and wraps and maybe a beer as I've been at work but only one as I'm back there in the morning

Chinese takeaway, about to study the menu and decide what to have.
I wish they delivered.

We had a selection of beige foods! Spring rolls, pakoras, samosas, char siu buns, chicken satay. It was ok.

We are having slow cooked beef and ale stew with extra carrots and green beans. DH making mashed potato. We are all ill so needed some low effort comfort food.

I've just had some chicken, peppery, mushroomy, capery thing my mum brought me. It was delicious.
The kids had sausage and mash. Dessert will be popcorn, kettle chips and a glass of red while I watch Harry Potter with the older two kids later.

Made a curry, DC's have a cold so hoping the spices sort them out a bit.

Fillet steak with peppercorn sauce, mash, crinkle chips and steamed carrots & broccoli. Just steak and veg for me though...am on a cut back. No wine either though I REALLY want some red, I am resisting
'smores donuts for dessert for dd & her friend from the fancy donut shop in town.

Medium rare steak, jacket potato, peas and onion rings. And a glass of red wine!
