Chippy tea for us as feeling like a zombie after finishing work at 1am. 3 hours later than schedule. Trying to function but thinking Strictly will be a sleepy haze from the sofa.

yawning801 · 22/09/2018 17:38

I've got a horrible cold so I've eaten a sum total of about three Kettle chips and half a small Sainsbury's pizza today. Now battling nausea whilst clutching hungry stomach. This thread is killing me!

Kraggle · 22/09/2018 17:39

Another lazy tea here as well!

Chicken nuggets, wedges, rice with a sweet and sour sauce. Surprisingly tasty for a cba meal.

overitalready · 22/09/2018 17:42

Lamb chops, mash, courgette, leeks, peas & gravy.

ZenNudist · 22/09/2018 17:43

Tenderloin of pork wrapped in bacon with a fig & shallot glaze, carrots, green beans, stuffing, roast potatoes and broccoli cheese.

redcaryellowcar · 22/09/2018 17:44

I went to Waitrose and bought a mini quiche with smoked salmon! Sorry I also felt uninspired!

mommybear1 · 22/09/2018 17:44

Cheeky Indian takeaway whilst watching the AJ fight Grin

DialsMavis · 22/09/2018 17:45

I want a real takeaway now!

Grumpbum123 · 22/09/2018 17:45

Ham salad sandwich and a yoghurt

MissMarplesKnitting · 22/09/2018 17:45

I have 4 of the kids friends over so it's pizza, sweetcorn on the cob and fruit salad with meringues here.

Naturally, I'm tidying up leftovers 😂

Meltedicicle · 22/09/2018 17:45

Fish cake, chips, onion rings, peas and garlic mayo. Choc trifle with strictly after Smile

sidsgranny · 22/09/2018 17:45

We're getting a takeaway - Indian I think. CBA with cooking on Saturday nights. I work every other Saturday and my DS does a sport for 3 hours every Saturday afternoon so a day off of work is not really a lazy day! Today however I was off and DS had no sport so am enjoying a "normal" 2 day weekend where we don't have to be anywhere at a certain time! Have just opened the wine!

(love these threads Smile )

From the good food budget bit of the cookbook

What’s for tea tonight?
beela · 22/09/2018 17:46

Pork steaks with mustard sauce, mashed potatoes, green beans. And a big glass of red wine.

It's cold today, I need comfort food!

CherryPavlova · 22/09/2018 17:47

We’re on a stopover on way back from France so went shopping and bought charcuterie, local cheeses, bread with nuts, tomatoes, cucumber, cornichons and some paprika crisps with a bottle of local champagne and a tarte aux fruites to finish - we are on holiday, after all.

HeyMicky · 22/09/2018 17:47

Pork belly strips and steamed Pak Choi

And a lot of cheese after

HeyNumber2 · 22/09/2018 17:47

Bacon and leek risotto, couldn’t find the recipe I’ve used in the past so found one on the BBC good food website, it’s disappointingly tasteless compared to my lost recipe.

1forsorrow2forjoy · 22/09/2018 17:51

Kebab meat and chips from the amazing takeaway down the road. It is amazing and I'm not even ashamed

CakeNinja · 22/09/2018 17:51

Nothing for me, I’m going out for cocktails!
Dc are having a pizza takeaway as their cousins are coming for a sleepover while the men watch the boxing on the telly (hence me escaping). Dp will probably have some of that or they will order something for the grown ups later on.

HurtleTurtle30 · 22/09/2018 17:51

Indian here, went to the cinema earlier to watch Christopher Robin followed by a McDonald’s and an Indian takeaway to finish the day but much later this evening. A lazy, junk food kinda day. Weather is awful so home, on the sofa watching transformers with my son. I’ll be having chicken makhani, he’ll either have korma or tikka masala. A nice relaxing day

GoldenWonderwall · 22/09/2018 17:52

Peri peri chicken in a bag, spicy rice and corn on the cob. Raspberries, strawberries and ice cream for pudding. Need to go do the rice now...

PhilomenaButterfly · 22/09/2018 17:52

King prawn makhani with pilau rice.

MsJolly · 22/09/2018 17:53

Chinese for us! Saturday night is takeout night as cba to cook!
DH has just gone to fetch it

HollySwift · 22/09/2018 17:54

Homemade ‘donner’ kebabs with onion rings.
