Anybody live in an area that's meant to be hit badly tomorrow? I'm in NI hoping it's not going to be as bad as people are saying... winds picking up already though.

Outside Glasgow and wind is picking up and i’ve Heard there is thunder and lightening further along the Clyde.

RubyPreciousJewel · 19/09/2018 00:52

Fluffyears not good. But so far no school closures so must be a good sign.

Fluffyears · 19/09/2018 00:55

anxious62 · 19/09/2018 02:57

Winds have just woken me up. House is rattling.

EleanorLavish · 19/09/2018 03:35

I’m in Belfast and not a thing here.

Gardai · 19/09/2018 07:38

Outside Belfast on coast here and it’s raining and a bit windy
The cat won’t go out so that’s a good barometer it’s going to be shit

AmabelleOnabike · 19/09/2018 07:41

In west Galway (coast) and it is wild! Worse than I've seen in ages. And yet the schools are still open. Or haven't called it yet. I am not looking forward to going out in that.

gabsdot · 19/09/2018 08:05

It's breezy in Dublin this morning, but quite warm.
My kids were hoping for a day off school.

Onynx · 19/09/2018 08:08

East Cork and it is wild, I've been awake most of the night - pretty scary tbh but no school closures.

IHaveBrilloHair · 19/09/2018 08:10

It was really windy here last night on the Clyde but not too bad now.

Auntieobem · 19/09/2018 08:11

We're meant to be getting a couple of trees cut down today. Hoping they leave it until another day, but haven't heard from them.

Brokenmyankleandfoot · 19/09/2018 08:14

Just inland of north coast. Windy already.

MsHomeSlice · 19/09/2018 08:18

Nothing doing here as yet on East Coast Scotland, we were yellow wind warnings yesterday and there was some malarkey with the Tay Bridge.

mummytothree87 · 19/09/2018 09:31

east of scotland here aswell...just pissing down rain just now and my other half said tay bridge has restrictions but other than that nothing

Lessstressedhemum · 19/09/2018 09:58

Ayrshire coast. Blowing a hoolie and heaving it down here and predicted to get worse.

MsHomeSlice · 19/09/2018 09:59

yes...just in that last half hour or so...the wind is howling and the rain is lashing.

Guess who has to go to the postoffice...and guess who left her coat in the car dh took to work?

BabySharkAteMyHamster · 19/09/2018 10:00

South Cumbrian coast.......it's windy but it's always windy here. Horizontal trees are native to the area 🤔

PassTheMead · 19/09/2018 10:01

NE Scotland here, dark and the rain is pounding down, waiting for the wind...

irisheyesaresmiling7 · 19/09/2018 10:21

Northern Ireland here... wind is howling, trees down, teeming rain and the electric is off so no coffee as yet today and I'm in bad need Sad on the plus side I can't do any washing, ironing, hoovering, etc... BlushGrin

Ursaminor · 19/09/2018 10:24

NE Scotland too (hi @PasstheMead!) - right on the coast. Grey and a bit of rain but no wind yet. Actually, ominously still.

PassTheMead · 19/09/2018 10:26

Hi @Ursaminor (waves)

TheHauntedFishtank · 19/09/2018 10:30

Wheelie bins have started going over in central Perthshire and it’s been raining all morning. Quite glad I’m working from home today!

PutYourShirtOnMartin · 19/09/2018 10:32

I am in a caravan in Cumbria... we have been battered! (But snug as a bug)

Returnofthesmileybar · 19/09/2018 10:44

I see a caravan in Galway was blown off a cliff with a lady inside, she has since been pronounced dead at the scene, poor lady.
