I’m good at making my kids laugh.

Doesn’t pay the mortgage admittedly but makes for some happy times

I can roast beef so that it contains exactly the right amount of pink and well-done for fussy eaters. I can get an HGV into a tight space, and out of it. My employers regard me as punctual, competent and diligent. Also an annoying obsessive twat, but in haulage those are features, not bugs.

Mucking out stables and making a bed that looks so good I want to sleep in it myself! 😂

Being on time. Packing things into spaces efficiently. Near perfect suitcase weight guesstimates. And apparently approaching the age where I can embarrass DD at will

I make and keep friends easily and am good at a one liner!
I can drink a lot of alcohol before making an asshole of myself, which is very under-rated 😂

I'm good at untying knots and catching dogs that are giving their owners the runaround, unscrambling terrible English for international students, and I make an epic cheese sauce.

Swimming, though I'm more built for endurance than speed. I can easily swim at a regular pace for 2 hours or more without stopping.
Cooking - I'm good at making cheap meals out of a few basic ingredients, it's something I learnt from my Mum (traditional working class life skills).

I'm good at donating blood. I have a fabulous vein in my arm that always gets 'praised' by nurses when I am donating or if they need to draw blood for a test. I am bizarrely proud of this vein 😂

I am good at making me laugh. Not actually sure that this is a skill, but I do laugh at stupid things, many times a day. Sometimes I do this out loud and my family ask what I am laughing at, then always do this face when I tell them. I think they think I'm a bit mad. they may be right .

I'm good at doing make-up and cooking.

I'm also great at organisation. I'm always on top of everything in my life.

I’m really really good at normal cakes and bakes.

My lemon drizzle has made people who don’t like lemon convert and my brownies have been deemed the Best Ever by multiple groups of people. I don’t do sugar work or fancy tiered cakes or make my own jam to go in my Victoria sponges. But what I do bake is really really tasty.

When Ds was little, he used to say that I made the world's best jam cake (Victoria sponge). He said, 'if Daddy could make jam cake, we wouldn't need you....don't ever teach him....

I'm good at planning holidays, singing, and, a recently acquired skill, landing a rowing boat when I cox. Oh and engaging with small children, although I am not a mum.

It took around 500 hours so I'd have to charge a squillion pounds!

Cross stitch is one of those things where I'd have to charge £££ and no-one would buy or I'd charge a small amount over the cost of the materials and basically give my time for free.

If you get given a cross stitched item you know the person loves you a lot!

I am good at cutting things out of paper, but I don’t get much chance to these days (twin toddlers and scalpel blades aren’t a good combo!)
