Dp and I disagree. Which is right?

Fwiw, I'm fleece up.

Fleece up. Plastic is to stop dampness from ground?

Chasingsquirrels · 13/09/2018 21:19

Fleece up.
Plastic up would mean the fleece side for damp from the ground, what would be the point of that??

LadyMacbethWasMisunderstood · 13/09/2018 21:19

Fleece up. What is the point of the fleece otherwise?

Prestonsflowers · 13/09/2018 21:19

Definitely fleece up.
The plastic is there to keep any damp away from the ground

SheSparkles · 13/09/2018 21:19

Fleece up

Sitranced · 13/09/2018 21:19

Fleece up otherwise you'll be sat on plastic and the fleece gets damp/dirty

Hideandgo · 13/09/2018 21:19

Why, oh why, would you put the fleece down on the damp, maybe wet grass. He can’t possibly think that!

BlackAmericanoNoSugar · 13/09/2018 21:19

Fleece up of course. The worst that can happen to the top of the blanket is a food spill, you want the plastic side on the ground where all the fox poo is.

Dementedswan · 13/09/2018 21:19

Fleece up Confused the plastic is too stop damp getting through to the comfy side.

Your dh is nuts 🤣

Cindersdonegood · 13/09/2018 21:19

Fleece up of course. The plastic is to keep the blanket dry and clean from damp ground and the fleece is for you to sit on comfortably. Why would anyone put the soft fabric facing the ground? 😂

FesteringCarbuncle · 13/09/2018 21:19

Fleece up of course

ARiverInEgypt · 13/09/2018 21:19

Is he on glue? Has he misunderstood the concepts of “up” and “down”?

LordOfTheFleas · 13/09/2018 21:19

You are right Wink

FermatsTheorem · 13/09/2018 21:19

Fleece up of course! (How very odd of your DP to think otherwise. I mean it's not a jam vs. cream first on the scone type question, it's one with a bloody obvious answer.)

Bluelonerose · 13/09/2018 21:19

Fleece up

PurpleShepNeedsToGoToBed · 13/09/2018 21:19

Of course fleece side up

Damp from grass gets stopped by the plastic, and you sit on the warm fleece.

Then you can wipe the plastic clean after of any grass

StripySocksAndDocs · 13/09/2018 21:21

Fleece up.

I’d re-examine your life OP. You’ve got to spend the rest of your days with someone who thinks picnic blankets should be plastic up. We can help you; you just need to reach out.

Dinosaursdontgrowontrees · 13/09/2018 21:21

Fleece up.

ShatnersBassoon · 13/09/2018 21:22

Fleece of course! Why would they put a soft, warm side on it if you weren't supposed to put it against your arse?

YouWereRight · 13/09/2018 21:23

Huzzah! I knew it. Fleece down makes no sense.

He argued plastic up, so you can wipe away spilled food and drink.

Fleece up. Is he on a wind-up?

BlackAmericanoNoSugar · 13/09/2018 21:24

And what's his opinion on fox poo on fleece?

PotteringAlong · 13/09/2018 21:24

He’s a knob. Fleece up.

PlugUgly1980 · 13/09/2018 21:25

Fleece up...unless your using it inside for messy play then waterproof side up! Grin

offtocornwall · 13/09/2018 21:25

He is wrong. No ifs or buts. Just simply wrong.
