How far pregnant am I?!

Long story short, I took a pregnancy test yesterday as I've just been feeling a bit run down recently and sure enough it came back instantly (before the control line) with a very dark positive! I have very irregular periods and I am breastfeeding at the moment so no idea how far along I am. I have booked a private scan for Monday. Just now I dug out my home Doppler just on the off chance and I found the heartbeat! Only about an inch below my belly button!!!! What does this all mean? How far along do you think I am?

OK, clueless female here, what's fundus?

TheBeatGoesOnandOn · 09/09/2018 13:58

How exciting OP!

By your self measurement I'm saying 21 weeks.

But as you're belly is slightly rounded I'm saying 15.

Unless it's twins and 15 weeks Smile

Good luck for Monday!

I'm place marking this is so exiting!!
Not a clue what a fundus is...
sounds like a chocolate edible item!

I found my tiny humans heartbeat at 9 weeks ... but I'm gonna throw a guess of 11 weeks 😊
I'm so exited for you hun

DrWhy · 09/09/2018 14:29

Another one saying around 20 weeks. A friend of mine had 3 children already and found out about her surprise 4th at over 20 weeks so it’s definitely possible. It was unmistakable baby kicks that alerted her in the end but with an anterior placenta they’d be later/more muffled.

Sallystyle · 09/09/2018 15:14

I am going to guess 10 weeks.

Exciting! Congratulations.

Notquiteagandt · 09/09/2018 15:49

Im 17w heard hb last week it was on my knicker line. So still quite low. So feel you maybe further.

How exciting!! I found out at 3w so feel like been pregnant for ages so skipping 1st trimester would of been ideal.

gollygoodnessgraciousme · 09/09/2018 16:44

I've been really anxious last night and today as I tried again with the Doppler and couldn't for certain find a heartbeat and the fact I've got no symptoms is messing with my mind. Starting to think it was all in my head! But the positive pregnancy tests weren't (and I did do a clear blue just to be sure which came up 3+). Not long to wait now.

Fingers crossed for you! My friend had two pregnancies with terrible sickness the whole way through. Four months after she had DC2 she found out she was three months gone already with DC3! She’d had no sickness, no normal symptoms, was just a bit tired and grouchy. Very surprised she was too!

gollygoodnessgraciousme · 09/09/2018 16:58

Wow I bet that was quite a surprise with such a young baby!! Don't know how I'd have coped with that!

December2018 · 09/09/2018 17:04

I haven't really had any symptoms tho... no sickness or anything just an irresistible urge to cram mars bars in my face all the time 😂

A friend of a friend recently found out she's pregnant at 27 WEEKS!!
Felt no movement or had sickness or cravings or anything she's been running about buying stuff like a headless chicken lol

IsTheRainEverComingBack · 09/09/2018 17:04

It definitely was a shock, but they’ve done reallt well. The DC are 11 months apart so treated almost as twins a lot of the time. It’s total chaos but they play together and are at the same stage for doing things. My friend and her DH are also still considering DC4 so it hasn’t put them off completely!

Icklepup · 09/09/2018 17:05

That would be a shock

JLG19 · 09/09/2018 17:07

What an exciting thread! I'm going to guess 10w.

Icklepup · 09/09/2018 17:09

Oh and I'm guessing 16 weeks

ShedDevon · 09/09/2018 17:17

I was not tracking my periods and tested when I was 9 weeks and then scanned a couple weeks later.

That said, I had no idea how long I was. When I was 9 weeks (which I found looking back AFTER the scan) I reckoned I was about 5.

So to see a 12 week baby when I thought I was 8 weeks at scanning was a surprise !

I thought I was infertile !

Mama1980 · 09/09/2018 17:18

How exciting, good luck tomorrow op.

DragonNoodleCake · 09/09/2018 17:24

Yeah best of luck - my guess is 14 weeks 3 days

Stormwhale · 09/09/2018 18:00

Ooh I haven't put a guess. I think 13 weeks and 6 days.

AirandMungBeans · 09/09/2018 19:55

I too know someone who found out at 27 weeks, some movement had been felt, but dismissed as wind. It was a massive shock as she had no bump whatsoever, just a little bloating, and she's slim to begin with!

MagnaDoodle · 09/09/2018 20:05

How exciting!

GreenMeerkat · 09/09/2018 20:25

Really looking forward to finding out now. I'm going to stick my guess in at 14+2!

Good luck tomorrow OP!

exhaustedrundown · 09/09/2018 20:36

I’m going to guess 22+4

gollygoodnessgraciousme · 09/09/2018 20:48

Wow these late discoveries are more common than you'd think aren't they!? I've genuinely no idea what my gut is telling me, I don't feel pregnant, I just hope everything is ok 🤞🤞🤞

Shopkinsarefab · 09/09/2018 21:14

I hope everything goes the way you want tomorrow. How exciting Flowers

I was 16 weeks when I found out I was pregnant with DC3. He wasn't planned, I was on the pill and having monthly bleeds.
It was a scary time but we were so happy. DS was almost 10lb when he was born and I put on much less weight with him than i did with the first 2Confused
The reason I suspected I was pregnant is that I suddenly felt nauseous every morning and grew a massive pair of boobs Grin
