Best sandwich filling

I am making a list of things I want to eat on discharge from hospital as the foods not amazing here and I’ve overdosed on jacket potatoes!
I’m missing sandwiches please tell me your favourite so far all I have is a decent bacon sandwich with crusty white bread, butter and ketchup.

Turkey, bacon, brie and cranberry or tuna, cottage cheese and Branston pickle.

A club sandwich with chips on the side
Egg (still slightly warm) mayo (with a splash of salad cream) with a sprinkling of celery salt on wholemeal bread.
Brie and grape in granary crusty bread.
Cheese and pickle in a crusty white roll.
Ham in milk roll. Salt and vinegar crisps on the side.

Cheese and marmite

Any sandwich that uses the cheap white bread that gets stuck to the roof of your mouth!

Turkey, smoked applewood cheese, lurpak butter and coleslaw on tiger loaf. Unbeatable.

Chicken dippers, lettuce cucumber and tomatoe. Maybe bit of melted cheese. And mayo.

Or beef, tomato, mozzarella and burger sauce.

So need a sandwich now.

Sausage, bacon and runny egg also good. I've even put hash browns in.

Or chinese duck wrap but that's not really a sandwich.

Wensleydale cheese, sweet pickle and a slice of crisp green apple.

Brie, basil and decent tomato in crusty baguette

We have the “big sandwich” for a busy day dinner.

Italian loaf, sliced in half. Bottom half butter and English mustard. Top half butter and mayonnaise. Then, bottom up...roast beef, Swiss cheese, turkey, ham, cheddar, tomato, cucumber, lettuce. Eldest child adds hot/spicy pepper rings to his.

Fuck I'd kill for a sandwich right now.

Bacon, lettuce, tomato, mayo.

Steak sandwich.

Toasted ham, cheese and tomato with hot English mustard.

Chip butty 👍

Tomato and avocado, (it being mumsnet).

Ooo egg and salad cream, hot pork, stuffing and apple sauce, hot chicken/turkey and stuffing. I'm looking forward to a cold Sunday afternoon after a early roast dinner/lunch when I grab my slow cooker out so the meat stays hot all afternoon (in gravy) yum yum
Can't beet a fish finger, cheap cheese slice and sliced gherkin on cheap white bread either.
I love hot sandwiches more than I realised 😁

Also if you don't feel up to cooking a roast dinner you can just grab the meat from the deli counter

Goats cheese and red onion chutney - seedy bread

Fish finger/Chicken dipper and ketchup - fresh white bread

Egg mayo, warm - fresh white bread

I like a BLT on lovely bread.

OH's fave is chicken nuggets, onion rings and salad cream

@KitandPup - take out the salad cream and your OH is a genius!
