Came out of my house to find this

Parking is a bit of a nightmare in my area due to no alllocated on street parking and few driveways, anyway somebody was parked outside my house and there was no other room on the street when I arrived home at 12 last night so I parked further up the road and came out at 7 this morning to find this! Technically I am a resident and it isn't even residents parking only, there is no residents parking! There were about 3 stickers all on my window screen that I had to peel off, I forgot to take a pick before I angrily removed them hence why it is on my steering wheel. I'm swinging between finding it funny and being furious.

Next time you have to park there, leave a sign in the window that says "I AM a resident, you Twat!"

BlackWatchBelle · 05/09/2018 15:36

Wow. Someone is really angry to have got stickers made! Beats leaving the bins out

parkingarmageddon · 05/09/2018 15:37

And I have no idea who would be on the prowl in the middle of the night ready to attack my car with stickers Confused

CrispbuttyNo1 · 05/09/2018 15:37

Blimey.. I would move rather than live in a neighbourhood amongst such vile people.

NakedMum33and3rd · 05/09/2018 15:38

That is so horrible and pathetic. I wonder if they would say that to your face.

parkingarmageddon · 05/09/2018 15:40

I have also had a note before when I parked on the opposite side of the street to my house that told me to park outside my own fucking house. They've upgraded to stickers. Must have been different people though.

Jings, is actually report that to the police. More so the community policing officer is aware that someone is angry enough to do this. I’d be furious that my children could see that sort of language outside my home!

But yeah leave a note on your windscreen, correcting the fucker!

Emmageddon · 05/09/2018 15:42

That's horribly aggressive. I think an "I live here so fuck you" sticker is the only sensible response.

parkingarmageddon · 05/09/2018 15:42

I have reported parking issues before to the community support officer and she basically said what do you want me to do? We don't know who it is so we can't do anything.

RebootYourEngine · 05/09/2018 15:44

I think I would park there again just to annoy them.

Aprilshowersnowastorm · 05/09/2018 15:46

Be thankful.
We are a permit street, if full can use side St also. Dh parked less than 100 yards from our house on side street, first time in over 3 years, full litre tub of pva glue on his windscreen!! They know we live there and are allowed to use the space but it was outside their door and 'their' claimed space. No such thing mate, just a fucking space!!

VelociraptorRex · 05/09/2018 15:46

Any cctv or cameras in cars? (Having a totally blank moment and I've forgotten what the damn cameras are called!!) I'd also be worried that kids would see it, it that someone would go to those lengths.
Surely the rules say that anything to do with parking needs a diagram?? Grin

TheFishInThePot · 05/09/2018 15:47

Shock I think you need a dash cam.

TheFishInThePot · 05/09/2018 15:48

Crossed with Rex

Scabetty · 05/09/2018 15:49

Crispybutty, rather extreme 😁

BackToTheFuschia7 · 05/09/2018 15:52

I’d get a motion activated dash cam that records when you’re not in the car and park there again. Then cover their house with ‘parking busybody’ stickers.

GunpowderGelatine · 05/09/2018 15:55

Shock when did this become ok? Why is society so aggressive now?

VelociraptorRex · 05/09/2018 15:58

@TheFishInThePot that's the puppy, DASH CAM, how is it I couldn't think of that word?!

Tara336 · 05/09/2018 15:59

@GunpowderGelatine completely agree with you!

TheActualLastJedi · 05/09/2018 16:04

We had a similar issue, parked further down our residential street late one night and someone put a sticker on our car saying "resident parking only!" And a second sticker that just said "wanker"

DH who is not shy of confrontation parked there for the next 3 weeks or so and left a note on the dashboard that said "I live here, sticker my car and I'll come have words. love, angry black guy from number (enter house number here) xxx"

Our car never got stickered again and DH is of Carribbean heritage for the record lol.

PaulHollywoodsleftbollockhair · 05/09/2018 16:12

I would go out of my way to park there all the time.

If I was rich I would buy a shitter and leave it permanently parked there.

AttilaTheMeerkat · 05/09/2018 16:17

I would report this matter to your local police station; what this person did really amounts to criminal damage to your vehicle. The PCSO you saw previously was pretty much useless so hopefully you will be taken more seriously this time around.

AttilaTheMeerkat · 05/09/2018 16:22

If you have parked on a public highway (and one also with no CPZ or other parking restrictions) a homeowner does not own the space outside their home. Although many people do seem to think otherwise.

I would take the offensive sticker to the police station and show them at first hand.

peridito · 05/09/2018 16:25

liking this

Cindersdonegood · 05/09/2018 16:33

Motion sensor dash cam then shame the idiots on the local Facebook pages.

But seriously, everyone NEEDS a dash cam. They are absolutely invaluable when something happens.
