I had toast for breakfast.

I don't get on with toast at breakfast time. It bloat me and makes my stomach hurt. I know this. And yet I had two delicious slices of hot toast and peanut butter. I am suffering for it!

Please tell me I am not the only one.

I am the same with Lattes. Some are ok but the Costa ones from machines go straight through me. I need to avoid them really.

Sorry10 · 01/09/2018 09:17

Prosecco upsets my tummy , I'm off to a wedding today and I know I'll have some but tomorrow I'll regret it Sad

hamzilla · 01/09/2018 09:18

Stick cotton buds in my ears. But it feels so gooooooood

I had some kind of weird stomach blip the other day, ordered a ham and tomato omelette and a large caramel latte when I knew I wasn't going to finish them.

BearSoFair · 01/09/2018 09:47

Eating grapes. I know they trigger my IBS, but every couple of months I can't resist any longer and eat a handful. Regret.

WhatAmISupposedToBeDoing · 01/09/2018 10:15

Every now and again I forget that sausage rolls give me mad heartburn.

Cheese. Particularly cooked cheese.

Smoking. I've mostly quit, bar the odd one or two if I'm stressed, or having a drink. I know it will set me back. I know it's gross. But I enjoy it.

Drinking. I get terrible hangovers, I hate being drunk, I hate drunk people, and I'm on some cracking painkillers... But a cold beer on a warm day is so delicious!

LongSummerDays · 01/09/2018 10:33

Eat cheese and onion sandwiches. Raw onion gives me bad heartburn for hours. Even cooked onion is starting to affect me but do I stop eating onion? Blush

Chelsea26 · 01/09/2018 10:34

Squueze spots although they’re tiny and near invisible when I start and I know they’ll be bleeding and angry when I’ve finished. Bite hangnails right down although they’re so damn painful afterwards... idiot

dickyduckydido · 01/09/2018 10:36

Pick off gel nail polish.....wrecks your nails but soooooo satisfying

Putting the snooze button on the alarm to grab ten more minutes in bed. I know that it causes stress on the journey to work...

NancyDonahue · 01/09/2018 10:44

Nibble at rough bits on my nails rather than get a file. It usually means half my nail is gone before I realise, and then I start on the rest Blush

Have a cup of tea too late in the evening so I'm up weeing all bloody night.

Gin and tonic, prosecco, champagne, basically bubbles upset my stomach. But I love G and T. So every so often I have ones then regret, until the memory fades...

AspieHere · 01/09/2018 13:00

Having a double cheeseburger from McDonald's.

I love them. I'm starving. But I will feel sick afterwards. I will still do it next time though!

I screw up my sleep pattern every time I have annual leave. Stay up until 1-2am then get up at 11am. I'll feel like shit the next day and when I first go back to work. I'll still do it next time though.

AspieHere · 01/09/2018 13:01

Oh and chippy tea. That also makes me feel sick but every so often I'll throw caution to the wind. Nope, feel bleurgh after. Same with KFC last time too.

DontGoIntoTheLongGrass · 01/09/2018 13:50

Eat gluten, lactose and caffeine. It fucks up my IBS but I can't help it. Free from stuff is shite Sad Had takeaway last night including massive pizza. In pain all night and morning. But I am contemplating going again tonight Blush

SneakyGremlins · 01/09/2018 14:11

I'm allergic to alcohol.

The local Greek place does the best meatballs in red wine sauce...

INeedNewShoes · 01/09/2018 14:15

Stay up far far far too late, either awake or fall half asleep in the armchair. I always regret it, never want to do it but it happens more often than not. I got into bed at 3am last night. DD woke up at 5:30.

Why do we do these self-sabotage things?

tobee · 01/09/2018 14:31

Most things, really.

But start some crisps/biscuits/chocolate telling myself I'll only have a few/some. Sad

MrsDeaconClaybourne · 01/09/2018 14:32

I do quite a few of the ones already mentioned Blush especially staying up too late. At 9pm I'm always planning an early night, next thing I know it's nearly midnight.

Any kind of fizzy wine gives me a headache if I have more than one glass but I never learn.

I have a really bad habit of precariously balancing drinks on arms of chairs thinking I'll be really careful this time...

UpstartCrow · 01/09/2018 14:33

Cheese before bedtime is my favourite.

strangelove99 · 01/09/2018 14:43

Ooh loads of stuff!

Staying up late scrolling on my phone - gives me a headache and keeps me awake for hours.

Drinking coffee with a carby breakfast! Hellooo swift trip to the loo a couple of hours later!

Opening the third (shared) bottle of wine... (Especially if its a work night!)

If I still had proper nights out I'd probably crack and smoke a couple of cigs too.

Buying too many clothes (extra bonus points if I can't just buy one item and simply MUST get it in two other colours!)

HappyEverIftar · 01/09/2018 15:40

Drink fizzy pop.
Wine before a takeaway or roast dinner.
Eating waaaaaay too many chips and salsa and feeling weird afterwards.
Any kind of juice with breakfast.

Basically everything relates to me feeling bloated and uncomfortable Sad
