So, months ago, maybe 6 months or so I put P-R on my DD's section of our calendar for tomorrow.
Problem being, I totally forgot what it stood for! A few months ago I remembered what it meant and I remembered saying to myself 'Thank goodness I didn't forget that!'
Now, I've forgotten again.. shit.
I don't usually use abbreviations on the calendar (and I'm not normally this forgetful, honestly!)
What could it mean? help! I don't have any tickets for anything booked for tomorrow..

I've barely thought of anything else since this thread was posted.
And yes I googled that @collywobble !!

NancyDonahue · 04/09/2018 09:47

Come on op. You must have an inkling.

Or just make something up as long as it puts us out of our misery. Literally anything will do! You've just remembered it was Persephone Redfern's Birthday? Grin

WhatchaMaCalllit · 04/09/2018 09:55

Peter Rabbit? You're bringing her to see Peter Rabbit?

M3lon · 04/09/2018 12:36

My other half put 5555 in our joint calendar and then couldn't remember why...insisted I must have written it and eventually remembered about a month later. It turned out to be 5555 days since we were married.....still not sure what he was thinking when he decided that needed celebrating!

M3lon · 04/09/2018 12:37

period re-enactment....you are all going to dress up as knights of the round table for the day....

Mildmanneredmum · 04/09/2018 12:44

So what was it? Pleeease!

WhatchaMaCalllit · 04/09/2018 12:50

I know!!! You're going to move to Ireland and seek a nomination in the Presidential Race.
Votes will be counted by Proportional Representation too.
When you win you will move out of Private Rental and in to the Presidents Rooms (ok, I'm grasping at the last one).

You will get to meet up with previous Presidents of this country and you're dying to meet President Robinson!

Kelsoooo · 04/09/2018 12:53

Any further development?

Ironfist · 04/09/2018 12:54

Prescription repeat?

itsgonnabe · 04/09/2018 15:01

Practice run
Or
Prepare/plan revision.

Think that’s what I would be thinking I’d need a reminder for in my calendar for my mid-teenager at this time of year.

Eggoispreggo · 04/09/2018 15:08

@DangerousMouse surely you've figured it out now??!?? We need to be put out of our misery and told!!!!

MeyMary · 04/09/2018 15:12

Do something else for your DD?

Take her shopping, make cookies and watch a film, family board game night, rock climbing...? (Whatever your DD enjoys?)

HairsprayBabe · 04/09/2018 15:14

Cracked it, it has to be...

Penis removal

kateandme · 04/09/2018 15:32

is the daughter going to come home livid.elated or something different due to what was meant to be today?

CanYouHearThat · 04/09/2018 15:58

I'm so over invested, i've just spent 5 minutes going through the 495 words starting with P, ending in R, that google offered me, other than 'procrastinator' (after all, you wrote it 9 months ago - lol), nothing sprung out at me. WHAT IS IT OP? Thiiiiiiink.

BarbaraofSevillle · 04/09/2018 16:20

I've just listened to the Infinite Monkey Cage podcast on cryptography and code breaking.

It's a secret code. But not as suggested up to now. In order to secure information you often need two secret codes, which are saved separately and you need both codes to decode the information. PR is half of the code. You now need to work out where you wrote down the other half.

Or is it a clue to an internet or telephone banking password?

ReallyExhaustedLlama · 04/09/2018 17:50

Pill renewal?

HappenedForAReisling · 04/09/2018 17:54

Ah shit. I was hoping to get to the end and read that the OP had suddenly remembered.

GreenTulips · 04/09/2018 18:45

Please Remeber

BikeRunSki · 04/09/2018 18:51

Are you meant to be doing a Press Release?

CherryCherryCherry · 04/09/2018 18:55

Is it Paddington to R(somewhere?) or somewhere to somewhere (cos of the -)

Papergirl1968 · 04/09/2018 20:52

Prescription review?
It’s more likely to be something to do with school at this time of year:
Parents report?
Physics revision?
Pottery/piano/painting restarts?
(Name of her school if it starts with a P) restarts?
P to R in the alphabet? As in she’s brushing up on her spelling, French vocabulary or whatever.
Friends with those initials coming to tea, or needing a lift to or from school?
Reminds me of when I put my M&S credit card pin into my phone disguised as “Mark’s” phone number and spent the next three years wondering who the hell Mark was!

Wombat44 · 04/09/2018 20:57

One time I couldn't remember why I had written "snails" on my to do list. After wracking my brains for a day I realised that it actually said "S nails", as a reminder to cut my daughter's nails (S being her initial).

Iamtheoneandonly2018 · 04/09/2018 21:08

Eagerly awaiting update

pandasboo · 04/09/2018 21:12

Any update OP? Does your DD have any idea what it might have been?
