Do zombies poo?

BigbreastsBiggerbeard · 26/08/2018 14:55

Just watching the latest series of The Walking Dead and it occurred to me, if they eat people and animals, they must poo? Except that they are dead and decomposing, so surely their digestive systems don't work?

Obviously this is a very important topic, so I need everyone to apply themselves to this asap. Like, now.

Also, I will attempt to get out more.

They must do...or they'd be very fat/bloated after a while.

BigbreastsBiggerbeard · 26/08/2018 15:11

Yes, you'd think. They really should address these issues. You never see a zombie stopping for a crap on these programmes.

In R R Hayward's Undead books they do.

ProudThrilledHappy · 26/08/2018 15:51

They probably just crap in their pants. Adds to the undead aroma

AltogetherAndrews · 26/08/2018 16:04

Perhaps they vomit instead?

dudsville · 26/08/2018 16:06

Oh god, and they don't use tp I bet either.

Coffeethrowtrampbitch · 26/08/2018 16:08

In the Max Brooks World War Z series, they didn't poo but would stuff themselves with meat until their stomachs and intestines ruptured (ewww).

The virus which reanimated them motivated them to bite to spread itself, but could not replicate a digestive system because the hosts were dead.

I've thought way too much about this, but it's good to see I'm not alone 😁

I'm watching TWD right now and I wonder why they have spurting blood when they don't have beating hearts.
As for poo... I wonder the same about vampires and weeing, seeing as how they're corpses too. I also think too much about this.

ILiveInSalemsLot · 26/08/2018 16:14

The meat probably just rots and breaks down in the already rotting gut.
(Great thread but I’m laughing at the adverts for toilets I’ve started to get.)

ShovingLeopard · 26/08/2018 16:15

Christ alive, I'm regretting clicking this thread Envy

Imnotsurprisedreally · 26/08/2018 16:16

I would imagine that, with the all meat diet, Zombies would be very constipated.
No wonder they look so cross!

Flashingbeacon · 26/08/2018 16:35

I know someone who speculates about sex with vampires. If they’re dead, they don’t have a heart beat therefore their blood can’t rush everywhere. So it’s going to be pretty disappointing. Theories?
Asking for a friend?

Moonflower12 · 26/08/2018 16:52

@Flashingbeacon
Surely they'd only be interested in you, if you were a virgin? Hmm

TooTrueToBeGood · 26/08/2018 16:55

They're on a zero carb and zero fibre diet. I doubt their bowels are particularly active. Extreme constipation probably explains the awkward walk and constant groaning.

vampirethriller · 26/08/2018 18:32

Overthinking vampire sex takes a lot of the fun out of True Blood.

Flashingbeacon · 26/08/2018 18:35

vampirethriller I’m sorry if I’ve shattered your dreams. But it bugs me no end.
Also I hate zombies. Thinking about them constipated pumpy makes me feel better about them.

vampirethriller · 26/08/2018 19:11

It's ok, nothing can shatter Eric for me Grin

Flashingbeacon · 26/08/2018 19:14

In all honestly it was Angel in Buffy that ruined it for me. Completely in love and then he kept banging on about not having a pulse and then I couldn’t not think about it.

BigbreastsBiggerbeard · 26/08/2018 19:21

This is all very interesting. I really have been thinking about this for some time. Yes, perhaps they vomit it all up when what remains of their stomachs get too full. Happy now

I’ve been overthinking vampire sex since Buffy. No circulation = no erection = rope snooker 🤢

ElspethFlashman · 26/08/2018 19:24

Oh yes and in Buffy wasn't there something about a condom? Which is hilarious.

shakeyourcaboose · 26/08/2018 19:24

@amusedbush rope snooker one of best descriptors I've heard!! Grin

amusedbush · 26/08/2018 19:26

@shakeyourcaboose

It’s good, isn’t it? Suitably grim Grin

amusedbush · 26/08/2018 19:29

Though not as gross as DH’s contribution of ‘thumbing in a floppy’ 🤢😂
