£1.90, they are fab and cooked on the premises too.

HammerToFall · 26/08/2018 14:05

50p here. Subsided by the council.

QueenOfMyWorld · 26/08/2018 14:05

Free until middle school (7 yrs old) in our area

TrashPanda · 26/08/2018 14:05

2.30 a day in Wiltshire. They have 3 options that have to be booked in advance with a pudding, bread and salad available every day with yogurt or fruit as pudding alternatives.

Ihavenoideaatall · 26/08/2018 14:06

2.30

MongerTruffle · 26/08/2018 14:06

£2

PristineCondition · 26/08/2018 14:06

£2.10 chartwells
Shockingly Tiny portions cooked badly.

Ds is also going into year 3 and will be having packed lunch

DaanSaaf · 26/08/2018 14:07

Ours is 2.50 a day. On top of this we pay 30p per day snack money (for one piece of toast/a pear).

I think it'll be packed lunches here, £50+ a month per child for 1 meal is too much.

Free until p4

Tempjob · 26/08/2018 14:07

£2.20 per day. No free school meals in Wales...

Ohyesiam · 26/08/2018 14:08

£2.80 a day

llangennith · 26/08/2018 14:14

£2.50 and they're cooked from scratch in school kitchen. Rolling four week menu set by Vale of Glamorgan.

MimsyBorogroves · 26/08/2018 14:17

Eldest £2.50. They're crap apparently. He really wanted to go once a week, so we arranged it, he hated it and as they only take payment by the term we've had to continue until now. Sigh.

Youngest's school is new so they haven't had students who aren't free school meals yet. I imagine they'll be the same price but they're gorgeous, big portions and very fresh.

QuickWash · 26/08/2018 14:17

£2.70 here. It's very good food cooked by an outside event type caterer rather than mass produced stuff and I love knowing they've had a proper meal etc etc but I've also got one moving in to year 3 so for 2 in ks2 it's going to be a huge outlay!

pumpkintree · 26/08/2018 14:18

£2.25. per day if you don't pay no food. primary level

Pascha · 26/08/2018 14:24

I think its £2.10/day. The school use Caterlink but I'm not convinced they do a good job really. DS1 is also going into y3 so first time paying for us too. I'm going to pay the first term but if the food doesn't improve I won't carry on.

Distracted123 · 26/08/2018 14:28

£18 per day. No lie. This is in state school. (But I’m not in the UK)

madja · 26/08/2018 14:33

£2.20 a day. Terrible food and portion size since council decided to outsource catering. Just warmed up freezer food now.

Finlaggan · 26/08/2018 14:34

Free until p4 (Scotland free for all kids in the first 3 years, some schools are extending it for another year) after that's its £2.00

RhinestoneCowgirl · 26/08/2018 14:38

2.25 a day I think (it's been a while since DD has deigned to eat one).

Cooked by in house team, and OK but not brilliant. When DD did have school dinners she was usually having 'salad bar' every day, which seemed to mean a wrap with some sweet corn and cucumber.

MilkybarGrownup · 26/08/2018 15:17

£1.85 in Primary school and my high schooler gets main, dessert and drink for £1.95 a day! All foods cooked fresh at the schools.

Coconutcake0 · 26/08/2018 15:40

£2.50

And there is FSM in Wales.
