What do expacts take home from the uk?

I live in the uk and always have done (hopefully not always will!) But one thing that gets my geek interest at airports is wondering what's in people's suitcases!
What do you buy when you come home to the uk that you cant get at home abroad? And what country do you live in (if you like)?

We took a whole suitcase of stuff to a relative living overseas some years ago - lots of sweets like liquorice (you can now get Haribo sweets widely available in europe), chocolate, HP sauce, Marks and Spencer underwear and pyjamas, toiletries.

Lots of brands are now to be found on supermarket shelves in Europe albeit at a huge cost! And even further afield you can find the odd UK shop that imports Dairy Milk and Heinz beans

Kids vitamins
Skincare, my fave hair gel
Lots of new clothes
A huge chopping board🙄
Toys for kids bought by all the grandparents (too many, but what to do)
A nice shower curtain
I know people that take meat (mostly pork) and lots of it - seems grim to me
Some cushion covers

Basically bits and bats that are all much much cheaper than in Dubai. We get 30kg each with Emirates so worth it

Live in France

Totally depends on where you are going to.
Saudi Arabia: fairy non bio, bras for me, new school shoes for kids, shoes for me, trousers for me, glace cherries, bovril, kids books, swimming goggles, birthday cards.
I know people who bring dishwasher tablets, herbs, oxo cubes, bisto, school uniform, those concentrated squash shot things, cress seeds, kids vitamins......

Irish here. Crumpets for my mam, she loves them and you can't get them at home. Sometimes some whisky for my dad. Boring but odd

For a friend in Netherlands I take Yorkshire tea, grazia magazine, twirl chocolate bars, double sided sticky dots.

When she comes over she will stock up on m and s food, particularly for xmas!

My sister (in France) takes back sausages, M&S pants and teabags.

Curry sachets from M and S. 100% cotton underwear for children. Yorkshire Teabags. Glutenfree packed lunch things for dd and Aldi individual packed lunch raisins. Children's clothes. Vitamins/stuff from Holland and Barrett. Wrapping paper and cards. School shoes. Parmesan. If taking a late afternoon or evening flight we take a couple of carry on cases of...Lincolnshire sausage!

Oh yes! Forgot Clarks school shoes, school socks too

Tea bags, cheddar (lived in a country with fab cheese, but nothing comparable to a decent cheddar), shreddies, marmite, paracetamol and ibuprofen (lived in a country where they were hugely expensive).

We live in the US and the only thing we take home from U.K. visits is chocolate,

DSis took back a case full of Percy Pigs.

Came back 3 weeks ago - I think those were the main things.

I was chatting to a woman in the supermarket as she cleared the shelf of baby bibs - she said she was going back to Saudi (I think) and that she couldn't get there there.

When I visit family in the US its - m&s biscuits, jam, chocolate (Mars bars there taste different), marmite vegemite, sweets and biscuits mainly. I thought I was being smart last time with Lotus biscuit spread but they have it there.

Chocolate digestives were $4 a pack there!

When my mum last visited I got her to bring me Percy pigs, Fenjal bath oil, a Sunday Times and a Saturday Guardian. Oh and lots of Tayto crisps ( although I can get them online). My husband’s mum posts him boxes of Barry’s teabags

My cousin's list when you went to New York was tetley tea bags, crunchies and shortbread.

When I’ve visited friends abroad I’ve taken tea bags, painkillers, boiled sweets and pork pies. I know someone who takes frozen curries from his favourite Indian takeaway home with him.

Oh and mince pies.

Oh yes - I took Veggie Percies and the caterpillar ones too.

My BIL & his wife live in Dubai, they do all their clothes shopping here as it's so expensive there. They also take food bits like stock cubes, hot sauce. Meds like calpol, metanium, ashtons teething powder, neurofen, antihistamines. Gifts/toys for kids, wrapping paper, greetings cards. Generally all much cheaper and easier to find here. They each bring an empty suitcase when they visit!

Toiletries, cosmetics, cat collars, cat chews, cat flea and tick treatment. Sometimes bedding.
Always clothes, Primark etc.
