Anyone recommend a decent reusable insulated coffee cup for student DS?

DS will be travelling to Uni on the train daily and likes a coffee, I thought a nice insulated cup for him to fill and take with him on the train would make a nice gift. Dishwasher safe would be good. He doesn't like anything too ostentatious, cool elegance would be perfect :o

@MummySparkle I shake mine to make sure it's all mixed then throw it in a bag for the day and it's never once even dripped on me.

Actually one time I shook it a little too much as I was dancing and it kind of popped when I opened it. Other than that little outburst, the cup is perfect.

Lifeventure here, just to be different. Never leaks.

I love my stojo, it's not insulated though. I love that when I finish my coffee I can collapse the cup and chuck it in my my bag.

Contigo.... I like the look of the Bodum ones, but they leak 😞

Another vote for contigo. I fill mine with freshly brewed coffee at 6am and if I leave it closed when not in use, any that is left by my 3.30pm drive home is still warm. Its also large enough to hold quite a lot of coffee

I love my Contigo. I.love the fact you can literally fling it in your bag & it doesn't leak a bit

U konserve I love mine so much I have ended up buying their tumblers too Blush

Another vote for contigo autoseal. The idea is that it's sealed until you press the button which moves a lever to open the drinking hole. And the newer ones have a locking button too so you can't accidentally press the button. It's amazing (and because its default is closed, not open, might also be allowed in a computer lab...!!)

I have a couple of these from amazon.

I throw them in my bag and they never leak and will keep a cuppa hot 4/5 hours happily, still warm and drinkable for 7/8 hours and unlike my contigo one still look like new after a year of being used every day and being dropped several times (I am clumsy)
