I've put the washing on the wrong setting (so it's going to be another 2 hours Shock) I'm shattered and can't face hanging it at 10pm.

Can I leave it? I Will rewash it tomorrow.

You have no idea what real slatternly behaviour is 😂 leave it. It will be fine tomorrow. Have a Brew and an early night.

MsAwesomeDragon · 22/08/2018 19:56

I'd leave it. I'm a self confessed slattern though. I just don't care if my housework is up to other people's standard

HappyEverIftar · 22/08/2018 19:57

I've done this before, so if you're a slattern so am I Grin

Strawberrybelly · 22/08/2018 19:58

I was expecting something really bad then from your title. I wouldn't even think twice about leaving it until the morning and if you don't open the drum I very much doubt it will need re washing.

Magpiefeather · 22/08/2018 19:58

Errrrr I have done this many many times

Unless it’s on a cycle with no spin (so will be sopping wet overnight) it will be fine if rewashed tomorrow

Dilemmacentral · 22/08/2018 19:58

Ah the benefits of a Miele washer dryer...!

I’d leave and release tomorrow

userofthiswebsite · 22/08/2018 19:58

Just cancel the program and re-set it no?

Dilemmacentral · 22/08/2018 19:58

Re wash

ItWillAllBeOkayInTheEnd · 22/08/2018 19:58

Why would you rewash it? How dirty will it get in the machine overnight?

PickAChew · 22/08/2018 19:58

Remove from washer when done, into a basket. Sniff in the mornjng. Either hang or rinse then hang.

DieAntword · 22/08/2018 20:01

I use a dryer and the last load of the night (our washing machine is a compact model and doesn’t take much) never goes on till the morning because I’m paranoid the boys will be woken by the sound of the dryer.

One night isn’t enough for the wet clothes to start smelling. On a bad day I’ve left them for two and then they stink and have to be rewashed.

scaredofthecity · 22/08/2018 20:01

Er it'll be fine! I regularly put my washing machine on before I go to bed and sort out out in the morning. Only time it wasn't really ok was during the heatwave.

troodiedoo · 22/08/2018 20:04

I regularly do this with no re washing.

hugoagogo · 22/08/2018 20:05

Good grief! A couple of days is not unusual in this house.

Passmethecrisps · 22/08/2018 20:06

It will be fine. Unless it is very warm I also wouldn’t bother rewashing

AnneProtheroe · 22/08/2018 20:06

I've had washing out on the line for a week before because I forgot it was there! Grin I only realised when I was looking for a top I wanted to wear and remembered doing a wash a few days previously.

Ikabod · 22/08/2018 20:07

I do this so often it's pretty much routine.

AspieHere · 22/08/2018 20:07

What?! I regularly do the wash the night before and hang it up the next day. Can't see the issue.

GhostPerfume · 22/08/2018 20:08

Don't rehash it.

Just maybe even a 5 min rinse if needs

SD1978 · 22/08/2018 20:09

Why the rewash? Can you not snap, hang and iron it?

ABitCrapper · 22/08/2018 20:09

I regularly put a wash on overnight but I always put it through a rinse in the morning before I hang out as some clothes can smell a trifle musty if I don't

feesh · 22/08/2018 20:10

I do this all the time! I do a rinse and spin in the morning.

BrutusMcDogface · 22/08/2018 20:10

I think many people wash late at night and hang up first thing in the morning.....

Rarfy · 22/08/2018 20:10

I often put a load on on a night to hang out in the morning. It will be fine!

BruceAndNosh · 22/08/2018 20:13

I wouldn't rewash it.
Waste of water
