I've put the washing on the wrong setting (so it's going to be another 2 hours Shock) I'm shattered and can't face hanging it at 10pm.

Can I leave it? I Will rewash it tomorrow.

This is not even a thing. Don't re wash. Don't give it a second thought!

PattiStanger · 22/08/2018 20:16

Wow, your standards must be sky high if that's even worth a moment's thought Grin

Grasslands · 22/08/2018 20:17

re washing is a waste of water and electric. hang in the morning.

Dinnerfor1 · 22/08/2018 20:32

How on earth is this being a slattern? Surely it’s quite normal to put a load of washing on in the evening and then sort in the morning?!
I really think you’ll be ok without rewashing them Smile

OutrageousFlavourLikeFreesias · 22/08/2018 20:52

Fuck me, seriously? That's not even beginning the journey towards Slatternhood! Go to bed with a clear conscience and know that this evening, I tried and failed to make sticky pork ribs for me and the kids and they went so horribly wrong we had to order Domino's instead, and I was so traumatised I've left the whole lot in the kitchen to deal with in the morning. Now that's slatternly Smile

WhatAmISupposedToBeDoing · 22/08/2018 21:05

outrageous I suspect it will be easier to burn your kitchen to the ground and rebuild than to scrape sticky pork rib off everything the next morning Grin

Nutkins24 · 22/08/2018 21:07

What on earth? I frequently leave washing in the machine for a day or more. It’s clean and sealed. I’ve never considered that this might be weird.

OutrageousFlavourLikeFreesias · 22/08/2018 21:09

@whatamisupposedtobedoing I'm seriously considering growing a beard and changing my name and moving to another place where no one knows me to escape the shame

BackforGood · 22/08/2018 21:10

Why on earth would you re-wash it ? Confused

You have no idea about proper levels of slattern-ness Wink

TheBrilloPad · 22/08/2018 21:12

Sometimes my washing sits in the machine so long I re-wash it 3 or 4 times before I eventually get it out.

WhatAmISupposedToBeDoing · 22/08/2018 21:20

I once had to buy a brand new outfit before a first date, because when I was on the train into town to meet him I realised my clothes had been in the washer so long they were properly musty Blush and I got oily salad dressing on the dress which never came out Sad (otoh the date was brilliant and I married him!)

domesticslattern · 22/08/2018 21:29

I wouldn't bother rewashing it.
See my username though.

GhostPerfume · 22/08/2018 22:07

Who are these people rewashing stuff all the time? You must be rich to afford all these electric bills!

Surely it is already clean. Just needs a freshen with a quick rinse. No need to fully rewash.
