You probably wouldn't want to go, it's fighting for its independence at the moment and feelings are hostile, it has severe levels of poverty which France, until recently, has tried to do very little about. Re fortnight in America most people don’t know what a fortnight is, they don’t use it regularly like we do in the UK. Also putting ‘x’ on the end of messages as kisses is something Americans don’t do
