Anyone recognise what my cat brought in?

I don't recognise this kind of chick. Maybe some kind of duck? We aren't near a pond though.

Any ideas? Cat is looking very proud...

How big? Does it smell?
Could it be a chick which had previously died. Yuk!

No webbed feet so can't be a duck. Feet look chickeny but the head doesn't

Ooooh I'm going with Dodo.

It's about 10cm long. It doesn't smell. Must be quite, er, fresh. Poor thing. I think it fell from a nest and the cat got lucky.

My money would be on seagull

Wood pigeon looks like a good bet. I did want something more exotic!
