I'm cold...I'm actually cold!

All the windows open upstairs, just came up to bed and it's freezing for the first time in months, yipieeeee.

I have bed socks on.

I had a wee snooze on the sofa after dinner, wrapped in a lovely, snuggly throw. God, I've missed that.

I am very happy that it’s starting to get cold and it’s getting darker earlier. The heat was awful.

I was basking in 34°C heaven in Spain yesterday. Now I'm hiding my tan under a blanket because it's a pathetic 17°C in Yorkshire.
Can we not just have 2 more weeks and then let the cold commence when the kids go back? Please 😭

It's a little cold here in the NE tonight. DP said 'Put the heating on if you want, I'm heading up to snuggle under the duvet'.

it's a little cold(er) but not heating or duvet weather yet! (to me anyway)

Summer never lasts long
Well it's been 20-35 degrees for two months now. I'd say that's fairly long!

I am so jealous.

It is currently 25 degrees where I live. And it is 11pm.

And no end in sight!! Have this weather for at least the next week.

I hate summer. I hate hot weather and sweating and wasps and sticky nights and the fact that my son is not sleeping because of the heat, so I am exhausted and mainlining sugar, so I have gained weight, so all of my summer clothes are just a bit too tight.

Enjoy your cosy autumnal weather! I can't bloody wait.

It has been cold and grey in Yorkshire today. We have had the fire on this evening. I prefer autumn to be in autumn, not August.
