I'm cold...I'm actually cold!

All the windows open upstairs, just came up to bed and it's freezing for the first time in months, yipieeeee.

I have bed socks on.

I was a bit chilly yesterday evening, too - sitting by an open window with the breeze coming in. I have been so miserable during the hot weather that I positively relished feeling cold, and deliberately didn't put a cardigan on. It was lovely!

I'm wearing a jumper, boots and a scarf.

I've even got an umbrella.

It's very refreshing!

I don't want cosy. It's still August. I am sad that I might not wear my summer dresses and shorts again this year.

I'm delighted that I can wear socks and sleeves again. I'd happily live in a country that never has summer, only a spring, autumn and winter. That would be perfection Grin

I may be jumping the gun a bit here but i made stew yesterday! Actual stew! I got raised eyebrows from dh but passed it off as practising for Autumn. Cant bloody wait.

Bit warmer here in Lincolnshire today but the night time has definitely turned chilly.

I do love a jumper and socks. My Birkenstocks are ready for the bin, they've been worn to death since May...bring on the boots.

I talked about putting a fire on today, DH was horrified and went to change into shorts at the mere suggestion!
A glass of something alcoholic warmed me up instead!

I put the heating on earlier. Just for 10 minutes to check that it still works, you understand. And I think the kittens were cold, so I needed to put it on for them, they're tiny and have just been spayed so need to be warm and cosy to recover properly.
