Piippa- mad about the shoes

Merlin- cutting edge electronic game which still works

I love vintage toys. I can't leave behind vintage fisher price if I see it at a car boot or charity shop and I've got quite a big collection now. I've also got some original polly pockets, they are bringing the compact ones out again soon, available for preorder on Amazon.

TheHalfBloodPrincess · 15/08/2018 22:11

@Notonyournelly98 I still have all my keepers, and 4 of those little dolls in the picture that you fold into the crystal ‘belly’ but I’ve never known what they’re called?

TheHalfBloodPrincess · 15/08/2018 22:15

I also still have rainbow Brite dolls, she ra (never got the castle though Sad) polly pockets, popples and my barbie rockstars collection (I totally had a crush on Derek 💕)

TheHalfBloodPrincess · 15/08/2018 22:17

Does anyone remember lady lovely locks? They had long hair plus little animal hair clips with hair extensions that you could use on the dolls or yourself?

Gingaaarghpussy · 15/08/2018 22:24

Fisher price fire engine, which i still have.
Fisher price camera, it had 2 bits you could look through, 1 was normal, the other had pics of zoo animals. You could change the pics by pressing the button on top and a 'flash' would turn each time. Still got that too.
Sindy.
Original weebles. We had a play ground, many hours of fun were had with the roundabout.

jellyandsoup · 15/08/2018 22:26

Lights bright where you stick little cikoyred plastic pegs into black paper. And I loved quints dolls

Gingaaarghpussy · 15/08/2018 22:27

PrivateParkin · 15/08/2018 22:30

ProudThrilledHappy · 15/08/2018 22:34

Pound Puppies. I desperately wanted one for christmas but the sold out so I got some random dog teddies instead.

I had the Strawberry Shortcake Fashion Wheel (similar to this photo) and it was my favourite toy for at least 6 months Blush

Frustration (board game)

cablewable · 15/08/2018 22:47

Always sylvanian families, I still have most of mine and it takes me right back when I get them out of the loft to look at. I'm mean!!

CoolCarrie · 15/08/2018 22:47

Does anyone remember Viewmaster? Those camera style gadgets with pictures of scenes from films, or animals on them?

MrsST · 15/08/2018 22:50

Another one for Polly pockets! I had pretty much all of them and I gave them all away. I also had Lucy Locket. I've seen one on eBay but it's £130! Polly pockets fetch a small fortune nowadays
Did notice they've had a face lift and are on sale from September. I've shown DD who is 4 and she's very excited about them- so looks like she'll be getting some for Christmas.
I also liked Sindy a lot more than Barbie.
I had one of those glow worm things as well, and lots of original trolls!
The yellow teapot rings a bell but I've never owned the tree.
Recently started getting DD into Enid Blyton but had to buy new books instead of reading my own old classics due to some of the characters not being very politically correct. We're currently reading Amelia Jane.

thismeansnothing · 15/08/2018 22:50

Major Morgan the electronic organ

Tried my best to get one off eBay when DD was younger but ££££ I LOVED it as a kid.

craftymum01 · 15/08/2018 22:53

Major Morgan!!!!! I'd forgot about him!

Atthebottomofthesea · 15/08/2018 22:57

Whilst I find my Mum's inability to get rid of anything annoying at times it has its advantages in that we still have a lot of our child hood toys. Fisher Price house, camper van, some shoe thing, my little pony, flower fairies, FP record player - the telly sadly broke recently. Also we have the clock that played 'when the old man died'.

I had a lovely FP cot and highchair that I passed on to someone, managed to find the cot in a charity shop.

I also had the original sylvanian families house, it wasn't in the best of nick and I think our house move has pretty much finished it off - I need to decide what to do with it.

cablewable · 15/08/2018 22:59

Aw Lucy locket! I had that

KathrynOfArrogance · 15/08/2018 23:00

Kerplunk!!
