Does this house look creepy to you?

Because it really does to me! Dark windows like black eyes. Apologies if it's your house, I'm sure it's lovely but even looking at the pictures I'm getting a bad feeling. Wouldn't want to spend a night alone here.

Is it just me?

Omg that is so creepy... who did those photos??

Voldesnort · 15/08/2018 17:59

Just you OP!

WatcherintheRye · 15/08/2018 18:00

It does look a bit doom-laden from the outside!

ApolloandDaphne · 15/08/2018 18:00

Just looks like a normal house. Not at all spooky.

Is it yours and you just want people to look at it?

Flamingo19 · 15/08/2018 18:00

It looks as the type of house that they’d use for paranormal activity or one of those home video style horrors! Even the rooms look a bit eerie

dudsville · 15/08/2018 18:00

I'm waiting for someone to please post a clickable link!

dudsville · 15/08/2018 18:01

Thanks apollo!

DuggeesWoggle · 15/08/2018 18:02

I don't know MrsDc7 I'm just having my periodic Scottish property daydream. Would love to live up there, although not in that house!!

PanPanPanPing · 15/08/2018 18:02

No. It looks fine to me. Whoever took the photos should have left the interior lights on when they took the exterior shots - it looks as though it was getting towards the end of the day/nearing dusk. Just bad photography.

TakeAChanseyOnMe · 15/08/2018 18:02

January lighting in Scotland was a bad idea! That’s probably only 3pm. They should repost with better lit photos.

FadedRed · 15/08/2018 18:03

I think it looks lovely. Not creepy at all, sort of friendly and smiley.

PanPanPanPing · 15/08/2018 18:03

Shame there's no floorplan either.

dudsville · 15/08/2018 18:03

I think the first pic is under partial cloud but it is funny to see new trend window frames. It does darken things up a bit of course. Can't tell if I like them. Lots of neighbours have chosen grey. Easier on the eye.

NashvilleQueen · 15/08/2018 18:04

Not even remotely

Chocolatecoffeeaddict · 15/08/2018 18:04

Not really spooky but I don't like the mirrors.

ClickHip · 15/08/2018 18:04

I'd go creepy. Definitely.

DuggeesWoggle · 15/08/2018 18:04

Ooh sorry for lack of clicky link! No it's not mine (thank goodness), I often like have a bit of a fantasy property hunt in the west of Scotland, see how much more we could get with our cash, and this popped up.

Maybe it's because I watched Mark Kermode's film program about horror last night and it's got my imagination going!

PanPanPanPing · 15/08/2018 18:05

Oh, and Tepilo is Sarah Beeney's gig. So not a local estate agent in that area.

Borisdaspide · 15/08/2018 18:05

They couldn't have done much more to make a normal house look quite so gloomy and dark!

Aprilshowersinaugust · 15/08/2018 18:07

Did an end of tenancy clean last night, loft hatch missing in a old terraced.
Dd proceeds to tell me about a horror film called The Loft!!
Brilliant.
Bloody not!!
Had enough of creepy houses!!

Pornstarlips · 15/08/2018 18:09

Any chance of putting a link too. I would love to see it
