If you have two or more DC, how long did it take you to fall pregnant with the second?

I'm just interested, really. We have a son who will be two in December and we are trying for another. We've been trying for 3 months so far. I thought I might have been pregnant last month but I was wrong, was a bit upset but I know that these things can take time and is different for everyone. It took us 5 months to get pregnant with our son. Hopefully we'll have some good news soon! I'd love for them to have a 2 and a half to 3 year age gap.
If you could share your experiences is be grateful!

Got pregnant first time on the first month of trying and the 2nd time it took 7 months

DC1 was a surprise
DC2 first month
DC3 17 months and 2 losses
DC4 4 months

DC1 shock!
DC2 took 2.5 years of actual trying.

2nd month for first child at age 35 and 1st month for second child at age 36. Very, very lucky.

6 months with ds
9 months with dd

Was 24&28

Child 1 took a year or so, and a miscarriage
Child 2 came as a bit of a surprise as I fell pregnant about 2 weeks after stopping breast feed child 1

3 months (ended as MMC) and then 3 months again. Good luck!

DD1 11 months
DD2 15 months
DD3 5 months - last 2 unplanned!

Ds1 4 years
Ds2 3 years

Dc1 took a year and a miscarriage. I thought dc2 would take the same time so we started trying about a year before we wanted me to get pregnant. I got pregnant with dc2 straight away.

DS1 1 month (25)
Current pregnancy 3 months after coil out. (33)

1. 3 months
2. Surprise
3. 1 month
4. 1 month

Had miscarriage after first baby then 10 months before DS conceived at age 38

Wow, so many responses, thank you! It goes to show how different it can be for everyone. I'm sorry to those who have lost babies It must be an awful thing to go through.
I'm think I'm going to try and relax a bit I'm becoming a bit obsessed with analysing every little thing I'm feeling in the hope of it being a symptom of pregnancy!

DC1 5 months
DC2 4 years, that's secondary infertility for you!
DC3 4 Months - DC 2 was almost 4 months old when I fell pregnant
DC4 - 10 months

Last two were not trying, not preventing.

Pregnant straight away first time, quick the second though sadly a miscarriage, total wait if 18 months to get pregnant with DD.

DC1 - first month

DC2 - first month, resulting in miscarriage, 1st month after that, currently 14 weeks.

2 pregnancies. Both times were 3rd month lucky.

Seafoodeatit I've recently heard about secondary infertility, I think it's been playing on my mind which is silly, we haven't even been trying that long!

DC1 took 18 months and 3 losses.
DC2 took 3 months and another loss
DC3 was the result of sex on CD6 (and a condom )

I had another 2 miscarriages inbetween DC2 and DC3.

Another thing that has been playing on my mind too is people saying stuff like, 'You'll call pregnant quicker with the 2nd, you'll see!' but that isn't always the case. Also I wish I never said anything about trying for another to my Mum it's all she ever goes on about now! i know she's just excited for another grandchild but it feels like a lot of pressure!

DC1: Second month, age 29
Early MC: First month
DC2: First month
DC3: First month, age 35 (and DP is 13 years older)

I realise that that makes me incredibly lucky.
