Have just been fannying around on Snapchat and have come across Lauren Goodger - fuck me sideways those lips! What are they!? Why why why would you want to look like this?

A terrible case of body dysmorphia

The scary thing is is that I now know so many real life Lauren Goodgers, I work in an all female environment and there’s girls at 20 getting Botox, and their lips done and not one of them has looked nice with their duck lips, they also try to make us ‘natural beauties’ feel like shit for not getting our lips blown up!. They get these ideas from these stupid AF reality shows.

I’m 38 next June and I am planning on getting Botox but that’s all I’ll ever do, I would rather look average/quite pretty naturally than average/quite pretty falsely, thank goodness my daughter has a brain and doesn’t look up to and/or watch these so called shallow, self obsessed ‘role models’ who grace our tv screens practically everyday!

Wow I just had a look on her Instagram, it’s all very very odd. The pouty lips/hair clicks to the camera. Strange behaviour. It’s all a bit sad really,hope she’s happy.

I was shocked at the young woman on I’m a celeb - the one on the panel sorry don’t know her name - her face! Her lips!

Oh and Cheryl Cole too now has had too many fillers by the look of it

It’s such a horrible ‘trend’ to look as fake as possible. In my town there’s now a few ‘buy now pay later’ clinic that offers finance for fillers, so many young girls getting themselves in debt for fillers that have disolved by the time they can pay them off 😩

Cheryl Cole was stunning until she did whatever she did to her face, and in my Closer magazine yesterday then I read she’s been saying that pregnancy changed her face...aye ok Cheryl dear! I cannot believe that she couldn’t see how absolutely beautiful she was to be honest, body dysphormia perhaps?

I have brutal lines on my forehead and terrible crows feet hence why I’m treating myself to Botox next June, Botox is temporary and I’m a smoker hence my awful lines and I can’t stop smoking atm, I’d never get fillers though, or duck lips.

Whoever is doing Lauren Gs procedures in particular should be ashamed of themselves.

I would judge another woman, never mind a women who clearly is desperately unhappy and insecure.

Seems to be normal these days for young women to look like Pete Burns.

She has had a LOT of work done by the looks of it including boobs and bum implants. She was lovely before all this. I just don't get it

Lauren was so naturally pretty i wish she could see herself like others did.

I have been watching reruns of towie and find it such a shame.

I'm in the minority and actually like the look with lip fillers etc but Lauren Goodger's are awful. I feel really sorry for her, her self esteem seems really low and I think its down to being with twat Mark Wright from a young age.

Also Joey Morrison, the jail boyfriend, is now saying that he ‘never fancied her and she looks nothing like her Instagram pictures’ and that he was just using her for publicity, what an utter wanker and I bet that’s made her even more insecure, but yes MW started it and I believe he treats MK better because he thinks she’s better looking, he really is that shallow and Lauren’s well shot of him.

NottonightJosepheen I totally hear you about smoking being better for the skin but in actual fact I have quite nice skin and get complimented on it quite a fair bit, just the lines that annoy me but I am 37 so I’m meant to have lines but I really think being around younger women is adding to my insecurities, never mind young girls being impressionable regarding the celebrity culture, I’m this way, it’s embarrasing

So many young women and girls seem to aspire to look like this. The peculiar jaundice toned fake tan and foundation, loo brush eyelashes and drag queen makeup. I think most of us will have seen many photos of girls/women doing the duck face pout and I very much doubt all of these have a problem. Unfortunately what they do have is Instagram and the like, which is very clever in convincing them that this is beautiful and this is what you should look like, somewhere between Barbie and porn star.

I'm just glad that I'm not a young woman nowadays. I dye my grey roots, I put on a small amount of make up (just so I don't look too haggard!) and I'm done. I don't feel the need to do anything more than that, it doesn't bother me to look my age. Why would it? Who would I be "competing" with? I am who I am! I do wish though that more young women would be happy to be who they are. I have not seen one photo of a celebrity where they look better after all this "work" than they did before, and they do seem to take it to extremes.

Scotschic that's awful it's no wonder shes so insecure. I also thought the same about Mark with Michelle but I do sonetimes wonder if he does treat her the same behind closed doors. I recently rewatched early series of TOWIE and would say he was emotionally abusive to Lauren. She looks so much better back then but would often talk about her weight. I'm pretty sure he made a nasty comment about her weight in one of the episodes but can't remember for certain. She's trolled constantly about her weight as well

I’m so glad I’m not in my 20s. I guess if you’re surrounded by fillers and Botox you come to see it as normal. God knows what these girls will look like in 20 years. It’s quite sad.

It's a perculier look because these young women who are probably mid to late 20s, end up looking like women in their 40s who've had work. The cheeks and toys all look like they'll cave in on themselves at any moment.
