Have just been fannying around on Snapchat and have come across Lauren Goodger - fuck me sideways those lips! What are they!? Why why why would you want to look like this?

i think many women who have botox/lip fillers become addicted to them. the girl who does my eyebrows had lip fillers around a year and a half ago and every time i see her they are bigger. they look ridiculous but she loves them - judging by the 100 selfies/snapchats/insta stories of her pouting each day. the problem is you’d be hard pressed to find a woman on tv in her twenties that doesn’t have lip fillers so it’s become normalised within that group of society.

I do think there must be some kind of disconnect between what they see in the mirror or on their selfies, and what they actually look like in reality. On a much lower scale, if you watch that show (can't think what it's called now) where they tone down women's make up, hair, clothes etc and usually the family/friends love the new look but the person themselves doesn't and feels it isn't them. Even though they do usually look so much better.

Really sad. I think her self esteem took a proper battering from being rejected by Mark Wright. I very much resent this “nations sweetheart” thing he’s trying to pull off on the daytime shows now, when I actually think he’s an abusive prick.

Her photos are all heavily and very obviously edited, many have snapchat filters on them. She definitely won’t look anything like that IRL.

This isn’t wrong but in my experience they look worse in real life because they don’t move properly.

Sad to say, I work in Liverpool and every second woman has lip fillers in my office. It’s a horrible look, 90% are younger than 25 but could pass for 40. Some of them can barely talk or eat their lips are so swollen.

I hate feeling like I’m judging but it’s actuallu quite shocking and sickening that these young women are doing this to themselves.

Why do people want to look like they've got 2 sausages stuck to their mouth? I just don't get it.

I have subscribed to Lauren Goodgers Snapchat stories and boy for someone with low self confidence then she doesn’t half love herself! She has taken a small video of herself dressed for a night out and the whole time that she has the phone in her hand, then she keeps playing with her hair and twirling around so that her ‘gym honed’ bum not, is on show and then she keeps pulling her top down to show more cleavage and she also pulls her dress up to show even more leg, and then she kind of does a ‘look at me’ walk back and forward, it’s no wonder the media, and the public, ie me, repeatedly take the piss out of her, she’s asking for it with these stupid videos!

Fair enough if your a sexy woman but subtle about knowing it, but Lauren is basically pushing herself to be a sex symbol and it’s never gonna work in all honesty because of these stupid performances that she does. She also has one where she’s in the bath and she’s showing the tops of her thighs and the bubbles are covering everything else!.

IMO there’s nothing sexier than a woman who doesn’t even know that she’s sexy, and she’s very natural and carefree, whereas Lauren really isn’t that sexy irl, yes on an app where the filters make you look amazing but it’s not real and surgery hasn’t helped, her bum is too big and she has thick legs, and they look even thicker because she continues to wear tight trousers that don’t flatter her in the slightest! She actually looks good in skirts or dresses that just go to the knee, or just past it, you’d think that she’d know by now what suits her figure and what doesn’t eh?!

Blimey. Bring back snog, marry, avoid.

i had lip fillers you can talk, eat, drink but maybe if you arent use to big lips it may be different

It's so very sad as she was a beautiful young lady but has ruined her looks.
She obviously has dreadfully low self esteem and the surgery and fillers make her feel better for a short while.
Like pp I see so many young girls absolutely covered on make up and 9 times out of 10 it makes them look older beyond their years.Sad.

I used to work with someone who was addicted to fillers. She was lovely but very insecure and was just never happy with the result, constantly wanting more and more. She couldn’t even eat with her mouth closed because her lips didn’t touch properly.

Half the problem was that it was so easy to get them done. She used to get vouchers from Groupon FFS and they’d be done in a back room of a salon. Sounded so dodgy.

Michelle Keegan seems to be going down the same road. I had to stop watching our girl, couldn't take it seriously because of her puffy face.

Michelle Keegan is a lot prettier now than when she was first in Corrie so her facial procedures have done her good.

I did read that people weren’t happy with her in Our Girl as she was meant to be in war zones and she was caked in makeup, she looked far too good for the circumstances she was in and it lost all credibility, I can see why people would feel that way, I never watched the one with MK in it, Lacey Turner is a far better actress and I watched it when she was in it.

Michelle is a good actress but no better than lots of other Young soap actresses, most of them dont do too good after soaps and so I’m thinking that it was more to do with MKs looks, rather than acting abilities, that has gotten her these parts after Corrie and I think the work will dry up soon and she’d have to go back to Corrie as a different character seen as Tina McIntyre is dead.

Unfortunately I have met Lauren three times.

She is not insecure, she has a massive ego and genuinely believes she is better looking than most women.

She craves attention and thinks people stare because if male they must fancy her and if female that they are envious or jealous.

I wouldn't say she is a narcissist as her personality is not like that but she is a very very vain woman.

Like a preening peacock is best how I can describe her! And she has the opposite of body sysmorogia because she looks in the mirror and believes she is four stone lighter than what she is.

@Scotschic I have very thick legs, way thicker than Lauren's. They are extremely toned and muscular - should I avoid wearing tight trousers ??
Lauren has cracking legs, why should she wear knee length skirts so as to avoid showing off her legs 🙄🙄

@zenasfuck I said that Lauren doesn’t suit tight trousers and I believe she shouldn’t wear them because they look awful on her, I never said it about you, I’ve never seen your legs and nor will I ever. Lauren has been in the public eye for 8 years now and you’d think that she’d have a stylist to lead her in the right direction, and especially as she’s so vain! She should wear knee length skirts because her legs are awful above the knee imo.

We obviously have different opinions on what nice legs are.

For me she's the perfect example of someone who needs a proper job, something to think about beyond looking in the mirror and photoshopping selfies. She was attractive beforehand, but now, quite scary. I say that as someone who finds botox, fillers and implants really unattractive and quite concerning to be honest.
