...where would it be? I’m fantasy house shopping so money is no object. I’ve got about ten billion pretend pounds (about three real pounds).

Applecross.

Tentothree · 12/08/2018 00:21

North Antrim!

TheSconeOfStone · 12/08/2018 00:34

The cliff overlook Whitsands in SE Cornwall. Or somewhere in far a west of Cornwall. Pembrokeshire would be an acceptable sunstitute. Cliffs, waves and golden sand essential.

Heaviestdirtyestsoul · 12/08/2018 00:46

@Djnoun snap! Burnham ovary coast!

soapboxqueen · 12/08/2018 00:48

The North East isn't really that cold at all. Yes we get a fair bit of wind off the sea , but nothing drastic. I hate inland air.

Guienne · 12/08/2018 06:24

St Ives, but I'd move out during the summer holidays. And I'd have to have easy access to a helicopter to avoid the traffic, and a good quality boat.

QueenCity · 12/08/2018 06:51

Either Northumberland or Anglesey.

GandolfBold · 12/08/2018 06:54

Croyde or Woolacombe.

KingscoteStaff · 12/08/2018 06:55

Thirlstone in Devon or Newport in Pembrokeshire.

kernowsailor · 12/08/2018 07:07

I relocated to Cornwall some years ago and can see the sea from my bedroom and garden. Do love it however a special effort is needed to love it right now as it's the summer hols and we have been inundated with holiday makers.

niceupthedance · 12/08/2018 07:10

North Norfolk

Spudlet · 12/08/2018 07:24

The Jurassic Coast. We stayed in a holiday cottage once which was the gatehouse of an estate with its own private beach (which we couldn't use because our very old dog couldn't scramble down to it, bless him, however) - that would do nicely.

Obviously I would need to have a massive 4x4 for decrepit dog transportation and install some steps for them! Grin

Whyiseveryonesoangry · 12/08/2018 07:38

I live 30miles or so from the sea. Believe it or not, I have a sea view from where I live now. (On a nice clear day)

stargirl1701 · 12/08/2018 07:40

East Neuk of Fife. Moray coast. Cape Wrath.

Jeippinghmip · 12/08/2018 07:48

North Norfolk

CigarsofthePharoahs · 12/08/2018 07:51

Isle of Wight.
Just had what was probably our best UK holiday there. Somewhere near sandown beach.
Plus with that much money we'd be able to afford our own ferry, never mind the extortionate fees on wightlink!

Rarfy · 12/08/2018 07:57

Llandudno however i do live in North Yorkshire and am about 10 minutes drive from the coast.

Onthebrink87 · 12/08/2018 08:05

South Wales 😍

IggyAce · 12/08/2018 08:11

Northumberland love Bamburgh, but many of the beaches are stunning there.

Rufus27 · 12/08/2018 08:12

Have lived in a few of the places people have mentioned here. The reality isn’t half as lovely as the dream, especially in tourist seasons!

vampirethriller · 12/08/2018 08:15

St Ives Cornwall.

weebarra · 12/08/2018 08:17

North Berwick. Or the Moray Firth.

JacquesHammer · 12/08/2018 08:22

Northumberland or North Yorkshire

P3onyPenny · 12/08/2018 08:23

Think I'd be avoiding Cornwall going by the overcrowding pics in the news this morning. I thought Devon was bad enough in the summer.Shock I used to live in Cornwall, winters can be bleak.

MissisBee · 12/08/2018 08:23

Another vote for the Antrim coast, around the Glens
