WWYD if someone parked in front of your gated drive, meaning you couldn't use it? Day two now...

Get it towed away for obstruction?

Do you know who the person is who has parked there?

No idea who it is no.

Who would I call for it to be towed? That would be perfect!

First off a polite note on the car if that doesnt work then get multiple A3 size printed pages printed "you park like a cunt" stick one on the windscreen every time they do it

Any chance your gates open outwards and will hit the car? If they do, I'd give one a good swing and if anyone complains just say you bumped your gate and couldn't grab it in time.

Have you left a note on the windscreen?

If you have the time, sit in your drive with a book and wait for them?

Or... hire a fork lift and move the car to another part of the street, then claim you know nothing!

Cover the car in post it notes! Like, thousands if notes over the entire car.

Give it a shove and see if you can set the alarm off, if the owner is nearby they might come out to check it.

I would accidentally damage it whilst opening my gates.

Call 101 and see what they advise
They may be able to track the owner or it may even be stolen and dumped

I logged in on our local police website, it says that the contact centre will be in touch within two hours. I'm not expecting them to do anything though.

Also checked the reg on DVLA, it's taxed but no MOT

I think they may be unable to use it due to having no MOT, so they have parked it up and left it

Oh, it it's just been abandoned and blocking you in then I'd be making a nuisance of myself to the police until they came out to deal with it.

No solution to offer but that is the best parking diagram I have ever seen on MN!!!
