Bus stop baked goods

Just found an abandoned bakery bag with a cake in it. Undoubtedly abandoned recently, the cake is still moist. Probably purchased at a bakery nearby. No-one came back for it. A fellow bus queuer suggested it would be fine if I took it (she came along a bit after me so probably isn’t a nefarious poisoned cake-planter). It’s even my favourite kind of cake (apple chunks baked into the surface). Would you eat it?

The other bus queuer looked in the bag. It was delicious by the way, and I am still alive and kicking so far.

Erm, I'm pretty gross, and have eaten plenty of stuff others wouldn't, but I would not eat food I'd found in a bus stop.

But what if someone got off the bus a couple of stops later and was hurrying back hoping that the cake they left was still there? There could be another thread right now started by a disappointed woman who wondered who would take a bus stop cake! Grin

Even if i was the one that left it there I wouldn’t want it back as I wouldn’t be able to account for it’s movements from when I left it to when I found it again. It would put me right off.

I can’t quite put my finger on why I wouldn’t eat it although I wouldn’t have looked in the bag at all tbh. However, it looks delicious and I’m very jealous. Would go lovely with some cream. God I really want apple cake now! 😋

There was some twisted fuck locally who laced sweets with rat poison.
Then there's the twisted fuck, could have been the same one, who laced food with laxatives.

THere are some twisted people out there who do nasty things for kicks. No, they don't see what happens, but they still get enjoyment as they imagine what happened.
