How do I post a picture? I've been trying to work this out as I want some feedback on some art done by a child.. is this possible?

Click the paper clip icon down by the reply box and it'll give you the option to add a photo.

SparklyMagpie · 16/03/2018 10:15

As above

FranMath · 16/03/2018 10:24

Keep trying but it won't seem to post them. On the app there is no paperclip icon.. but space to download 3 images which I've now tried to do 3 times. Think I give up! Thanks for replies though ;)

Try using the website rather than the app, under the box you type messages into is a choose file button.

someonewhowonders · 16/03/2018 10:28

Try viewing the website through the web rather than the app?

numptynuts · 16/03/2018 10:34

Sounds interesting.

flippertygibbett · 16/03/2018 10:44

I get this OP - it works if I put some text in the text box and post the picture, if I just try to post a picture with no covering text it just won't work Confused

Waitingonasmiley42 · 16/03/2018 10:55

Are you new to the site? I think it takes a day before you can post pictures.

FranMath · 16/03/2018 11:00

Hi thanks lots! Yes I'm new so I'll try tmrw- I have tried through web but option not available so think Waiting could be right- I'll definitely try again tmrw. Thank you!!

On the app press the paper clip then press the + symbol.

FairiesVsPixies · 19/03/2018 10:05

Have you tried again, OP?

SparklyMagpie · 19/03/2018 10:07

Was just wondering the same! Very intrigued

FranMath · 19/03/2018 10:49

Ok this could be a total anticlimax after the long wait! It might be me reading too much into it. I want to give a brief back story but maybe I'll just post pictures and see what people think. It's a collection of pictures from someone's childhood (permission granted to post) and there is no representation of a mother or adult apart from one. Am I reading too much into these? Sorry if everyone disappointed by this after the wait!

FranMath · 19/03/2018 10:52

Right way round ;)

SparklyMagpie · 19/03/2018 10:54

What is it that you're reading into?
I feel like I'm missing something?

Soubriquet · 19/03/2018 10:55

I think you're reading too much into it

It just looks like a child's fantasy story.

Unless the background info you give changes it all

TheVanguardSix · 19/03/2018 10:55

That last one with the bride and groom is an excellent drawing. Good perspective. It's dark, creepy, creative. Nothing weird at all, that I can think of. Just an active, imaginative mind. Creative people are kind of dark.
DD is incredibly gifted at drawing. I'll show you dark. Actually, I won't because I don't want to really post her drawings. I actually do worry about my daughter's art at the moment and it's waaaayyyy darker than what you've posted. Think Edward Gorey.

FranMath · 19/03/2018 10:56

And i meant female adult. Lots of fathers and daughters. Person had nightmares all through childhood which is why the stories for bedtime one disturbs me a bit. Wedding scene one looks wrong to me. Any child art experts among us?? Got more but these stand out to me...

I like that there's a fishbowl on a table in the bride/groom one. I love random little additions like that. There's a great young mind at work there. You should be proud, not worried.

FranMath · 19/03/2018 10:57

Ahh just read responses. Thanks I thought I could be reading too much into it!

I think we need context OP.

TheVanguardSix · 19/03/2018 10:59

SO... is this is someone else's childhood work. Sorry. Didn't read your words. Just went straight to the artwork.

FloatyFlo · 19/03/2018 10:59

Yeah sorry OP I don't follow?!

SparklyMagpie · 19/03/2018 10:59

Are you possibly suggesting possible child abuse?

Apologies if I've got that wrong

Are the others the same type of drawings?
