Aw, really sad to hear this. Part of my childhood too, especially loved his monologues and Timothy Lumsden...

His monologues were legendary.

What a bad year it's been so far. Keep singing to myself Bold Sir John and The Cleaning Ladies song since I heard. But feeling a bit teary.

The world is becoming a progressively sadder place.

Loved The Two Ronnies. Memories of my Dad crying with laughter.

Ronnie Corbett was great to watch; loved all his monologues in the big chair. Still watch the Two Ronnies christmas specials most years.

I used to love The Two Ronnies. Sorry was only on tele recently. Another star from my childhood gone.

I feel really sad. I'm at "that age" and so many of my childhood favourites have died recently.

Will be missed. A lovely chap.

sad when anyone dies but tbh I thought Barker was the star of the two and the real comedy came from the script writers- give them credit.
