And HRH, totally agree about the name-changing. This was a thing...two-three years ago. But now? Is that all he's got? "Go off to your room and don't come down until you can talk nicely."

And it really burns my bagel that he's making stupid, infantile jokes about his fiancée. I mean, what's her crime? To be honest, I had never heard of her before the big announcement and it's nobody's business who Ben decides to propose to (especially since I'm off the market).

I just read that his next project is Lost City of Z with filming in Belfast and Colombia. So where does the Sherlock special fit in because December is nearly upon us

I thought lost city of z was filming November, but that can't be correct.
Perhaps Sherlock pushed back until February

ooh, get back in the knife drawer, snidey little journalist! Honestly. I do think BC is a bit everywhere, he's dangerously close to turning up to the opening of an envelope a la Salman Rushdie. But if you're going to bitch him up, could you do it with at least some of the intelligence and articulateness the man himself has?

Speaking of which, just read The Big Issue interview. Is anyone else getting a bit fed up of printed 'interviews' that contain very few of the subject's actual words, and an awful lot of padding/what the journo thinks of him,his work, life etc? I don't buy the magazine because of who wrote it! And given that BC has got plenty to say, and is generally articulate, intelligent and amusing with it, it seems ludicrous that his words make up less than a quarter of the actual piece!

I think a pre- Christmas shopping trip to Belfast is in order

Oh my god. I saw this thread years? ago and wondered what on earth anyone saw in him. I thought he was too weird looking to ever be good looking. Then we started watching Sherlock-1......2.....3. Then I looked out for him in an interview or two.

Welcome hismum, you are in a safe place now! Amongst kindrid spirits. Relax and enjoy the view. For you, a few recent faves of mine (any excuse to post them!). I think it's incurable once it takes hold. Not had such an obsession since I was a teen (I'm a 38 yr old, happily married mum of a toddler!)

I had a little interest last year, but after the Sherlolly kiss on New Year's day it exploded into a full blown, life ruining obsession and I have pretty much had to look at him daily since then (319 days and counting I think!) Plus obsess about him share the love with the lovely BCAS ladies here.

My husband is and my friends don't get it, even the one that has met him (well she does a little but says he doesn't do it for her). I'd be drowning without these threads!
