Anyway I'm sick of his private life and am looking forward to Oscar season being over so he can put on a bit of weight, take a holiday and get back to making quality work

I quite like Needs version as it has a Sherlock feel to it, doesn't he say 'to the very best of times' to John.

If we want to avoid his personal life completely we could go with something like 'from Sherlock to the downright Strange!'
