I might start a thread called "WARNING, COULD BE OFFENSIVE" and put a porn link in it, then look blank and say I did say it was offensive in the thread header - would that be OK?

a thread about how pathetic these 'jokes' that do the rounds are would be more up mumsnet's street but to repeat them, knowing how contentious this subject has been over the last few days is not on really.

IMO, it would, hunker, b/c personally, if I read 'could be offensive' I usually give the thread a miss if I'm in the mood to be offended.

I find porn disgusting, but others find it entertaining.

I find such jokes a bit distasteful, but no-one went lairy about the Irwin references (which have been everywhere on mn) ... and he died

I feel the same way about porn, which I feel is far more harmful than crass jokes.
