I'm a new convert here...I didn't get the whole thing with Benedict until deciding to get Sherlock on DVD, now I totally see it.

It's like having a teenage crush all over again.

I have just realised that however obsessively I check for Hamlet tickets I am going to have to wait some time (weeks?) while people with priority booking get their tickets. By which time only Wednesday afternoons and / or top-priced tickets will be left if I'm lucky Sad

Was looking forward to watching STiD tonight but now we're going out instead so it will have to wait until next weekend. I couldn't push too hard for staying in to watch it or DH will wonder where my new-found interest in sci-fi has come from. And more to the point, he will be finding other 'similar' films for us to watch but which will be missing a crucial ingredient

Hello ladies, and greetings from across the pond. I had the most fabulous Mother's Day (except for the getting up at 6 am and the crying children at the airport) - flying back to the US for my 20th college reunion this coming weekend. The flight was fabulous - not because there was no turbulence and not because I didn't have to supervise any children during a 7 hour flight, but because there THREE CumberFilms to choose from in the inflight entertainment system (12 Years A Slave, The Desolation of Smaug and August: Osage County)!! Life is GOOD! DH is minding the kids while I muck out my old room at my mother's house; I'm finding all kinds of goodies in the form of old photographs and even the occasional note a friend slipped to me in class (I refer to this as Stone Age texting).

I watched "12 Years A Slave" because I hadn't seen it yet. (My local cinema didn't show it in English.) Holy crap, what a powerful film. His Southern accent was...hit-and-miss. The rest of him, however, was delish.

I will be tuning in to see him and his Mum talking about Chelsea Flower Show - is he actually going to Chelsea does anyone know?

I have absolutely not been hanging around in Hampstead on my days child free and am not only back to find out when he is in the uk or not

annie he is meant to be at windsor castle today for a prince William gig.

Chelsea, the day that he's there, is the press/celebrity day so no meetings there.

Mansfield park is on radio 4 at 2pm each day this week.

BC says fanny a lot which delights me and makes me smile more than a lady of my age should.

Mmmmmmm lovely! Kate moss is beautiful although looking a little 'done' these days. Emma Watson looks stunning and I love Helena B-c for being bonkers! Cara delevigne gives me the rage.....smile FFS! She's like the archetypal stroppy teenager all the egging time!!
