So was reading this article in the daily mail about an 18yr old mother Stacey ball who stole her baby away from SS during a supervised visit on one hand she stood up to them and took her baby back who im sure she loves more than anything but on the other hand she is 18 is doesn't have a job and she is unable to care for the child with no partner to care for either of them either (abusive relationship) so its a half and half situation really was she right or wrong in what she did i say right for standing up for them and wrong because they have her babies best interests at heart and she has landed her self in even more s**t for doing this ?? www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2582488/Four-arrested-police-missing-toddler-Lola-safe-vanished-mother-visited-foster-care.html

No idea, and neither does anyone else unless they are family telling the truth, or social workers/professionals involved in her case.

the fact she is 18 and doesn't have a job, this information on its own doesn't mean she can't care adequately for her child, despite what the Daily Mail may say.

And the fact she doesn't have a partner 'to care for either of them' isn't relevant.

i know single parents can raise there children with childcare and a job what it seems is she has neither and comes from a violent relationship and i wondered what SS and dailymail aren't telling us there a sneaky bunch apparently

Um because having a child deliberatly for benefit or raising a child on benefit is difficult and wrong i waited years to have a baby me and OH were this girls age when we got together were both vets now with our pwn practice it was hard but worth it

Yes she has shown love for her child which as a mother i admire but the SS has said she is unfit because she is from a violent relationship and they are right too for sending the baby to a home with 2 parent and income

Well yes it does benefits are few and little amounts there are children that starve because there parents are unable to work or unwilling last i checked child benefit is £20 and jobseekers/income support £110 people cannot survive on that amount

We don't know the details of the situation, however, I'm not liking your slant on needing two parents and income to be a loving good parent. It doesn't work like that.

No im not saying im better im saying having an income is better than having nothing and staying at home with a child and having nothing is not in a babies best intrests but at the same time it isnt in the mothers best intrests to take her baby away when she has shown such distress at it being done
