To celebrate the launch of Paws and Whiskers, we're running a comp to find your favourite pet pics.
Paws and Whiskers is an anthology of stories about cats and dogs chosen by Jacqueline Wilson, best-selling author and Patron of Battersea Dogs and Cats Home and includes stories from Jacqueline herself, as well as Michael Morpurgo, Malorie Blackman, Ian McEwan, Philiip Pullman and Patrick Ness.

Upload your pics to this thread before the end of day on Thursday 6 March and we'll announce the winners on March 10 March. The winner will receive £100 John Lewis voucher and three runners' up will each receive a copy of Paws and Whiskers.

This is my old cat Boo, king of the castle lording it over Barney who was a puppy at the time - very much learning his place!

Clever kitten using the iPad! Every time she "catches" the mouse which shoots across the screen she gets 100 points......current high score is 4700!! God help the mice when I finally let her out.
