To celebrate the launch of Paws and Whiskers, we're running a comp to find your favourite pet pics.
Paws and Whiskers is an anthology of stories about cats and dogs chosen by Jacqueline Wilson, best-selling author and Patron of Battersea Dogs and Cats Home and includes stories from Jacqueline herself, as well as Michael Morpurgo, Malorie Blackman, Ian McEwan, Philiip Pullman and Patrick Ness.

Upload your pics to this thread before the end of day on Thursday 6 March and we'll announce the winners on March 10 March. The winner will receive £100 John Lewis voucher and three runners' up will each receive a copy of Paws and Whiskers.

A box of kittens - we fostered the mother and five kittens, and this was the first venture out of the box.

He is 5 years old and the size of a furry A-Team van.
He likes to steal food as it is transferred from plate to mouth. He will chase flying things but not crawling things.
He will let you dress him up in literally ANYTHING.
He would like to work with children and his dearest wish is world peace.
