WE HAVE A DATE - 1st Jan 2014!

Sherlock Lives!!!!

They currently driving an "Empty Hearse" around London with the date in flowers Grin

MrsJohnHarrison · 29/11/2013 10:36

Frankel beat me to it! We've people coming on that day - hope they like Sherlock Wink

WhomessweetWhomes · 29/11/2013 20:43

Squeeeeeeeee! We have people here too - but it's my sister and she likes Sherlock too, although not in quite the extreme way that I do... Grin.
I was thinking of posting a 'You know you love Sherlock/Benedict too much when...' list. I'm sure you lot could come up with some good ones.
You know you love Sherlock too much when you... are seriously considering knitting a phone cosy with the pattern from the 221B Baker St wallpaper on it. That is just sad on so many levels...

NeedsAGreenCardForFantasyLand · 29/11/2013 22:35

Oh my stars and garters....

Whomes, you may be considering the phone cosy, but I will admit to having purchased fabric for a quilt based on a Tumblr post.

WhomessweetWhomes · 30/11/2013 12:39

Brilliant, NeedsaGreenCard - and nobody need know the reasons for your choice! Knitting seems to go hand in hand with fangirl geekery. The Ravelry website, home of zillions of free patterns, is awash with LoTr, Harry Potter, Dr Who and Sherlock-related designs.

NeedsAGreenCardForFantasyLand · 30/11/2013 14:41

A thing of booty/beauty!

WhomessweetWhomes · 30/11/2013 19:12

Mmm. Yes indeed. Dh was flicking channels last night and Scandal in Belgravia was on. I inadvertently squawked in indignation when he flicked straight past it. Mind you, he's out tonight, so which one shall I watch...? I'm thinking Reichenbach in preparation for the new series.

NeedsAGreenCardForFantasyLand · 30/11/2013 23:42

May I just say that I think I may be approaching the point where I might need an intervention. Scrolling through Tumblr, I was able to (correctly, I might add) identify both Tom Hiddleston's and Benedict's posteriors. And Hiddleston doesn't even do it for me!!

If I ever get off my arse and cut into that fabric (which is patiently waiting, washed and pressed, in a cupboard together with hedgehog and otter fabrics for the backing -- see what I meant about an intervention?!) I may be persuaded to post photos. But that probably won't happen until the new year.

BTW, how does everyone feel about spoilers for the new series? I have read that Cumberbuddy will be taking a leave of absence following the press premiere until the actual airdate. Wouldn't want to post any info and step on anyone's toes...

NeedsAGreenCardForFantasyLand · 01/12/2013 08:10

God, picking a favourite is like picking a favourite child...

WhomessweetWhomes · 01/12/2013 16:31

Number one is my fave. But just because I like that shot, not necessarily about the hair. Although I definitely prefer non-ginger batch.

NeedsAGreenCardForFantasyLand · 01/12/2013 20:18

Yet another reason for me to love December!

NeedsAGreenCardForFantasyLand · 02/12/2013 19:29

I don't care how lovely Benedict in "Sherlock" is, can you imagine calling for "Grampy Sherlock"? I can't.

But I do love me some ScruffyBatch.

More lusciousness.

FrankelInFoal · 02/12/2013 20:59

Sherlock is not an ideal name for a child Hmm I do actually like Benedict, but DH's name is too similar to get away with it Grin

Those lips are something else aren't they!

Love this

WhomessweetWhomes · 02/12/2013 22:14

Ooh Frankel, love that last pic. Not sure I've seen that one before.

MrsJohnHarrison · 03/12/2013 01:19

I think I've been rumbled! Have spied a Xmas present for me wrapped in that personalised Benedict paper for me Blush from DH!
Oops, although I think making him watch Hawking, when it's not my type of thing possibly gave it away.
My New Year resolution is to try and share some lovely links as I love all of yours.
ThanksThanks

NeedsAGreenCardForFantasyLand · 03/12/2013 14:01

Happy Dance time!

MrsHarrison, I know I've been on Facebook too much today because I just went hunting for the "Like" button for your post!

NeedsAGreenCardForFantasyLand · 03/12/2013 21:06

Ohpleasegodohpleasegodohpleasegod let this be in the extras of the DVD. (Fat chance, though.)

Ha!

The look on Karon's face...

Red Velvet in my favourite forms!

This just made me have tea come out my nose.

FrankelInFoal · 03/12/2013 21:14

Now that first one would be good GreenCard Grin

WhomessweetWhomes · 04/12/2013 20:03

Gah - try that again

FrankelInFoal · 04/12/2013 21:28

Look at all the pictures!!

MrsJohnHarrison · 05/12/2013 12:25

Not sure if I should laugh or faint!

Wink
FrankelInFoal · 05/12/2013 20:39

Cumberbatch does R Kelly = my day made Grin

FrankelInFoal · 05/12/2013 21:28

Have you seen: we now have the ability to post pictures to threads in Chat via the desktop site. I've asked MNHQ if we can have the facility added to Sleb Twaddle too Grin

LetUsPrey · 05/12/2013 21:59

I have no idea how he kept a more or less straight face Grin

I think I prefer the anticipation of a link Grin
