He's confirmed he won't be attending the August Osage County premiere as he's flying back to the UK to start filming The Imitation Game. And in that note, if you fancy being an extra in the film THIS ADVERT has appeared on a casting website. Honestly if it was closer to me and I wasn't pregnant I'd be applying, as I fit the criteria, but I'm so knackered at the moment I just can't manage 6am starts

Frankel, alas no. I am under 5'2" and my hair is...well, lots of different shades of what the colourist didn't get right. Right now my roots are long enough to make people think I'm wearing religious headgear if they're standing far enough away. Next attempt at getting it right is next week. Pray for me. Not to mention the distance thing.

Prey, I think I'll join you at the bar tonight. I had a mega meltdown to contend with last Wednesday. DS1's was the only 2nd grade class to have an assignment set -- copy down 1 (one! ONE!!) paragraph. It took him 2.5 hours. Lots of screaming, crying, chest-beating. He seems to have zero interest in school, having already told me halfway through his FIRST schoolyear (last year) that he hates school. Way to go, there, Madame Teacher.

DS1 seems to be getting the hang of senior school . He really enjoyed ST:ID, even though I'd already taken him to see it at the cinema

I'm hoping to get to see Frankenstein at the end of October, although it's on a Thursday which is one of DH's regular match nights.
