How to react when a woman steals a husband after thirty years

How should one react when a younger model manages to entice an older bald, but just strangely very rich and powerful, husband from her best friend. Should I try to stay strong for her, but not get into any hatefest which always gravitates to the other woman.
Should I join in and almost engineer a night of maligning the cuckoo in what was my best friends nest.
It happened to me over ten years ago, my husband was enticed away by a younger model, this as it happens was the best thing that happened to me, which I did not appreciate at the time.
Should we ladies of older years just assume that an older powerful and rich man has the means to attract gold digging women with no morals or sense of any sisterhood and accept the consequences?

No. You should simply choose better husbands, who won't run off with younger women because they massage his ego.

A woman can't "steal" a husband.

Any more than a man can "steal" a wife.

People aren't property.

A man who has decided to leave his wife has made his own choices. He's not a passive piece of furniture who can be "enticed", he has to be willing to be enticed.

"Gold digging women" can only attract men who don't value the women they're with, but value the "gold digging women" more highly.

FGS, allow men to be responsible for their own values, beliefs and choices can't you. Just as women are responsible for their's.

Well, I consider my husband to be a fully rational adult, so should he choose to leave me, that will be his decision and that is entirely where the blame will lie. The younger woman is irrelevant. Perhaps she has dubious morals, that's her problem (and will probably come back to bite her in the arse when he leaves her for yet another younger model).

There's no sisterhood about this, apart from you supporting your friend who is probably very upset right now. Some men are dicks, as are some women. People come in good and bad varieties, unfortunately.

Weird. Agree - you can't steal a person.And said older powerful rich man can just say no to golddigger.
Are you implying the marriage is a sinking ship? In which case the solution is to sort that (for both partners)
